“Great food, staff and atmosphere.”

“The only thing that NEEDS to be said is the food here is outstanding. This is a fine dining type place but we found it on a whim and showed up in shorts and tshirts and were warmly welcomed and felt just fine. Few places put out food of this caliber…the quality and care is evident in every bite. Nothing in life is perfect but there wasn’t even the slightest miss in any dish we had. The geek in me loves hearing the stories about dishes and ingredients and learning more about Peruvian cuisine. We are on Sunday and it’s now Tuesday and I’ve been thinking about Geronimo’s ever since. I’ve have never had Chifa style cuisine that has impressed me in any way and their Lomo Saltado takes a basic quirky stir fry and somehow makes it a sublime experience. My son had the fried Aesop’s special and we were floored at how perfectly fried it was. Not at all greasy or heavy and the calamari and sea bass was tender and juicy. Short rib was butter tender and huge. I could obviously gush on and on but just go….the service was equally as phenomenal. Oh and the canchitas were awesome little snack and the Mebrillo compound butter they served with the bread was crazy good. Can’t. Wait. To. Go. Back.”

Hello Wings has the best wings in town - Montgomeryville, Lansdale, North Wales, Chalfont, Colmar.Since my first visit in last year, I've been going back almost every week. Their wings are very meaty, perfectly crispy, and sauced just right--not drowning the flavor of the meat. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the generous portions (they are cheaper than any other restaurants nearby, and even cheaper than pre-cooked wings from grocery stores, but quality and taste are at whole another level). Hello Wings definitely emphasizes on the quality. I really wouldn't mind to pay more if they keep the current quality and taste!I've tried both their Naked Bone-in Buffalo Wings with Buffalo Hot sauce and the Crispy Breaded Bone-in with Gangnam Style Original Sauce, and both were deliciously unique. Oh let's not forget about their Mandu Dumpling, so savory!!!The staff are always friendly and nice, but don't bother you. “al pastor and birria tacos were so good! stopped by for taco tuesday with my friend and we were so impressed. the service was fast, the pastor was tender and flavorful, the birria was perfectly rich, and the tacos came with delicious roasted peppers and tortilla chips. honestly we were amazed that you can still get so much good food at such a good price around here. definitely stop by if you're around the collegeville area!!Kid-friendliness: there are some not kid-friendly items from the convenience store on display right near the ordering counter, so i would probably not take kids inside. food is great though!”

“While out on road trips for our son’s baseball games, we often try out local privately owned ice cream shops. On a recent trip to Norristown, we tried out La Sorpresa and we were very happy with the experience. It’s a real nice, family-friendly spot with plenty of parking. They have tons of option to choose from, including hot dogs, nachos, ice cream, water ice, popsicles, unique soft drinks, and candy. The ice cream, water ice and popsicles are homemade, and they had very creative flavors. We tried the ice cream sundaes with churros, which were amazing. They made the churros fresh for us, so they took a few minutes to prepare, but it was well worth the wait. The pistachio ice cream was awesome. Their popsicles looked really good, with fresh fruit inside. I’ll have to try that next time.Service was very pleasant and helpful. And compared to many other privately owned ice cream shops, it was actually a good value! Seating inside seemed a bit limited, but we were visiting in off peak hours, so we didn’t have any problems.Next time we’re in Norristown for a game, we’ll be stopping off at La Sorpresa!”

“You know this place is popular when there are people waiting outside the door at 9am right before this place opens. It was my first time here and upon arriving, 2 people were waiting to get in and 3 more trickled in minutes later. A line started to form and people are trying to get the tomato pie. I place an order for the regular tomato pie a few days ago over the phone but when I went to pick it up they didn't have my name. Luckily they had extras so I didn't have to order another. My friends really enjoyed the tomato pie so it's definitely as good as people say. Just be sure to double check the day before if you placed an order with them.”
