“This was the best pretzel I've had in my life. It was made fresh, was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. Flavor was great, no bitterness, and just enough salt without being overpowering. Service was also quick! It's located inside in the marketplace.“
“Mediterranean treats galore from one of the sweetest stand owners in the market. Everything is delicious, there's always a line and he sells out! The pita and all the hummus flavors are my go to's but the falafel is just right, cardamom cookies....everything is simply delightful. The stand is also packed full with couscous and olive oil, Mediterranean spices. Take your food items to go or Omar will heat it up on the spot.“
“Just devoured the Vegan Poke Bowl at Akhi Sushi at Southern Market Lancaster. I ordered it without the sauce or coconut and added steamed shrimp to keep it more Weight Watchers point friendly. So fresh and delicious and I’m not embarrassed to say I did not need a take-home box!“

Their focus on emerging and established chefs, each serving up their own specialty fare, whether local, regional, or international surrounding the bar. Just South of the crowded Central Market, this hub of international cuisine start-ups has been featured in the urban legend blog which brought us in for lunch from Peru...deliciously paired with local craft lagers from the bar. Another must stop while staying in Lancaster. Would imagine it's jammed in the spring and fall.“

“Authentic Mexican taco truck!! It's tucked in a parking lot on water street so just keep looking. Very close to a beer distributor and a park. Only open Friday - Sunday, and they do sell out--you need to make a plan but definitely worth it. Limited menu, great prices, authentic flavors and presentation. Great sauces available and Mexican sodas too. Service is friendly and fast. There are a few picnic tables under an awning but most people grab and go. Street parking is pretty easy in this area. Lots of regulars around, it's a popular place at a great price point. Pretty certain it's cash only, come prepared. Worth the adventure!“
