I get takeout from Highland from time when I am down that way for my regular chiropractic appointments (my chiropractor is right next door over at Universal Athletic Club). My absolute favorite is the Highland Special Pizza, which is basically like a supreme pizza. I can say hands-down that is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my 46 years on this earth. We stopped in here on our way home to eat, knew nothing about it, and the cheeseburger subs are on point!!!! Love the beer selection and our waitress was amazing!!!

The service is top notch, with a friendly and patient waitress, though the restaurant can be somewhat understaffed with one server taking care of the bar and tables. The atmosphere includes live music on Saturday nights, trivia night every Tuesday from 6:30-9pm (free to play, $20 gift card for first place, reservations suggested for larger teams), and mounted TVs playing sports. Prices are reasonable.
