Went during the World Cup and was so impressed with the service and craft beer. You can tell the owners truly care about the local city and are trying to bring that out in their beer and bar. I love seeing the partnerships with some of the craft beer they have made.
My friends and I visited Rural City Taproom on Saturday night during ZenkaiKon 2026. Even though we were unable to enjoy alcoholic beverages, but the friendly staff allowed us to stay and enjoy non-alcoholic despite it being past last call. We appreciated them so much, especially on how they decorated the entire taproom in a way that it was cosplaying for the convention. Came during Zenkai had some of the Fallout Inspired Menu and Drinks. Gonna have to swing by whenever I'm in Lancaster again. The guy who runs the bar is a fantastic individual who can seriously strike up a good convo (especially about fallout)

Rural City Taproom is a favorite brewery with a fantastic tasting room that offers a variety of beers beyond just IPAs, including lagers and stouts. The attentive bartenders provide great service, making the space feel welcoming and down to earth. Visitors can enjoy great conversations about beer with the staff, including the assistant brewer. The food is on point, with classic bar options like the quesadilla and the unique carrot cake beer. The building itself is a magnificent historic high rise adjacent to the Lancaster Market. The hazy IPA and the blueberry cider, which has an authentically blueberry taste, are must-tries. Guests appreciate the clean and casual atmosphere and plan to return for more events and great beer.
