We came here over the weekend to enjoy cocktails and good food. Our server Alandra was wonderful. She had excellent recommendations and vert courteous manners. The espresso martini she suggested was the best I've ever had. We were very impressed, it was smooth with a very complex flavor profile. We ordered deviled eggs, the pepper bisque, scallops and burger. All of our food was exquisite, seasoned and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is the restaurant was cozy yet very modern, we enjoyed the renovations very much. We had a wonderful experience, I'd definitely go back and request Alandra again!Parking: Urban parking, many paid garages and street parking.

Stopped in this place on Saturday, March 30th. The experience was so disappointing. Was not busy at all, but we stood in front of hostess for almost 10 mins while she was on phone. Never acknowledged us until call was finished and then she acted like she didn’t know why we were there. Then as she finally sat us, we sat at table for about 20 minutes. No one EVER came to table to give us water or anything. We got really frustrated as staff continually walked past us. This was around 2:30 in the afternoon. Never got any water or any food. The atmosphere looked amazing. However, I will never go back due to this service. We left after not being acknowledged. Another group was leaving at same time who also mentioned that they waited too long and was never waited on. We mentioned this to hostess that no one ever came to table, she said told the server that we were there, but ??‍♀️I had high hopes for this place and was heartbroken that this happened.

Food is excellent but when an additional 50 dollar tip was added to our bill and management acted like it was just a little mix up after we call about it…that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I hope it was an honest mistake but 50 dollars is a lot of money. It’s not a small oversight. Glad we caught it on the credit card statement but to not even receive an apology was kinda shocking to me but I guess that’s how people do business these days.

Highly recommend ! The food was absolutely delicious. The ossobuco was NYC fine-dining quality food. The “shareable” shrimp had that nice grilled taste + super flavorful. Great wine, huge restaurant but we were there on a quiet weeknight which was perfect. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush, meant for an evening to relax. Jeff was nice too ! Please add dessert to your menu…would have been the cherry on top.

We are hoping that someone from upper management will read this review and use their conscience to correct an injustice. We have several outstanding invoices for services that we performed at this location. There are no disputes that we performed the work and provided materials for the repairs needed. However, after numerous attempts the outstanding balance remains unpaid. We are happy to remove this review and leave a 5 star review for your wonderful restaurant and staff. We are not sure how you can treat another small business with such callous disregard. Fingers crossed.....

Another exceptional dinner and dining experience at The Pressroom in Lancaster. Our waiter was warm and knowledgeable. The restaurant had an elegant, metropolitan vibe, and each course was outstanding.

Excellent food, great all around experience. I recommend the Ossobuco, with pork not veal, had a wonderful sweet crust, perfectly cooked, and just delicious. Steak Frites were also perfectly cooked. Pretzel appetizer also great. Several unique mixed drinks, ours was excellent. Desert was the only thing that had some weaknesses, chocolate cake with some vanilla topping and chocolate shell, the cake was hard, definite pre-fab, also had a cheesecake, nothing special. Dining room was spacious and well laid out, warm. We come to town once a year, and have been to a few downtown Lancaster restaurants, will definitely return for this one.

Update: Service at the bar was amazing, cocktails were great and the bartenders were friendly. This used to be a great restaurant.I think the restaurant might have changed ownership, or the chef changed but the food was not as good. This is the second time we've been here in a year and the second time we were unimpressed. The menu was a lot smaller, and on this particular night they were out of steak, soup, ossobucco, and deviled eggs. The soup and ossobucco because of the long cook times makes sense but steak, deviled eggs? The service was also a little slow but that could be the waitress having to explain to every table what they were out of! Definitely not worth the price. We probably won't be back for awhile unless it's just for drinks.

The Pressroom is the worst version of itself that I've ever seen. Previously, we would go here for lunch and cocktails - our trip on Saturday will be the last. There were 5 people leaving when we arrived and no one else was dining. Waited close to 10 minutes sitting at the bar before anyone tried to take any order from us (aside from the nice lady who gave us water). "Bartender" wasn't able to make anything we wanted and we had to order off the house cocktails list because they pre-batch their cocktails now so they aren't even mixing anything fresh. The pre-batched cocktails were pretty bad. We left and went to C'est La Vie - Do yourself a favor and go to a bar where bartenders make things fresh.

Steve was very accommodating after we had a not so great experience the previous visit. Food was perfect and as ordered, also waitstaff was great. Will be back.
