After hiking Flat Rock, we Googled a place to eat and found Laurel Run Lodge aka Chick's. Based on reviews, ordered quarter pounders and both got a side of fries. Unless you're super hungry, you can share a side of fries because they're a large basket - but super good! Excellent service and cold beer. Great experience!
We ordered the Maple Bacon Bourbon Burger and the Hawaiian Burger. This may be the first time ever ordering a $10 burger and thinking it was worth every cent. Not to mention the HUGE serving of some of the best fries I've ever had. We then drove to Colonel Denning and ate by the lake. Everything was still crispy and not soggy from the travel. We will definitely be coming back.
