My family had dinner at your new location yesterday and it was hands down the best service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I never really take the time to leave reviews so the fact that I’m doing so speaks volumes. Food, atmosphere, service, and prices were all top notch. It’s always a struggle to find a restaurant with all 4 of those qualities, let alone a menu with enough options to please everyone in my family since they all have different tastes. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and the owner even came out to greet us. We will definitely be back soon!“

“My daughter and I have been wanting to try the soup flight for a while. Today was the day! We both had the daily lunch soup flight special. We both ordered corned beef sandwiches which were delicious and came with fries, coleslaw, pickle, and the soup flight. For the soup choices I got the cream of potato, split pea, and vegetable beef. My daughter got cream of potato, tomato orzo, and vegetable beef. They were all so good! We can’t wait to go again! Looking forward to coming for dinner and trying the salad bar which also looked delicious. Very friendly service as well!“

“Can’t count how many times we’ve been here but here is my review of Silk City.

The food was excellent. Can’t go wrong in any order. Loved the ambiance. The drinks were good. It’s good to have a reservation as this place gets packed every time, but they could accommodate you to the diner section. Service at the diner section usually takes longer. Lots of parking around the area, but it’s better if you take Lyft or Uber. Staff were amazing and really friendly.

We will always go back to this place.“

“Let me start by saying don't go in here expecting a traditional restaurant experience. This is an old school, fast paced, self-serve/take-out style diner that is CASH ONLY (has an ATM). That, however, is EXACTLY what I want for good breakfast on a busy weekday morning. And good doesn't begin to describe it. Staff are a well oiled machine used to a very busy fast-paced environment who are there to get your order, give you your food, and let you move on with your day.
Now the food. Let me say, it isn't hard to make good home fries, but these were AMAZING. Onions and peppers in perfectly made home fries with perfect consistency and a taste to die for. No need to season them as they were perfectly seasoned. In my almost 41 years of life, these are the best damned home fries I've ever had! My eggs were made perfectly over medium with wonderful runny yolk like I love them and were wonderfully flavorful. Sausage patties were delicious as well, partner got pancakes that were fluffy and sweet even before the butter and syrup. Excellent diner, fast service. For anyone that likes this kind of place, it is up there for best ever!“

“Good evening Google Family. Mom and I visited the Stargate Diner today on Motivational Monday, September 30, 2024, the last day of the month of September. Can you believe it? Time is going so fast. Time does not wait for anyone. We visited after I patronized the Walmart in Eddystone to purchase items for the house. We visited the bathroom first at Stargate and it was clean. Then we ordered our entrees. Mom of course, ordered tilapia, applesauce and mashed potatoes. The server forgot our applesauce but she gave it to us when we were leaving. It took a little while to receive our food since they were short staffed today. Everything was good when we got it. I ordered salmon, potato salad and applesauce. Nothing to drink. We enjoyed our food and our experience here. Joann was our server and she was good!! WE will ask for her again when we return. Have a great night Google family and don't forget to work out!!!“

Wow! Now this is unique, Muslims running what was once a very well known and excellent 5 Star Jewish Deli. I got takeout Lox bagel sandwich + FF
The guy running the counter was great (new Muslim owner) and my bagel lox cream cheese capers onion & tomato sandwich was excellent & great fries.

So, noticing the Asian owners were gone and a counter guy with a bit of, hey this guy looks and sounds like he might be Muslim, I asked him - are you the new owner? Smiling proudly he said yes, I leaned in and quietly asked - are you Muslim? He said yes and I gave him my heartfelt Salaams. I love having the skill and knowledge of knowing how to greet people from a few different religions.

The place looked and felt very clean, the atmosphere had changed too. Bright and friendly and professional too. The “Vibe” of a good Deli was back, nice!

The 5 stars is for excellent service getting takeout and the food portions and the food quality. I have not sat down for waitress service and have not ordered any other food. This review is only for those things. But, based on that experience I will definitely go back.

“I would have given five stars , but the issue is not with the food or the service or the Atmosphere. The issue is with their credit card and debit card system whatever you want to call it. This is the first time since I've opened this bank account that THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!IT took 2 weeks to first take the original charge and then after the fact took another week to take the tip. This bank account has been so fantastic that the amounts that get taken off usually get taken off immediately right away.
