“Take a walk back in time to 1933. This place is a GEM. Small intimate bar and seating for 15. The phone rings non stop and the bartenders chirp orders into a microphone to the kitchen. Beer is fresh and ice cold and a steady stream of people come and go getting Pitza to go. We got a 12 cut half schamutz/Romano and half sausage hot peppers. The schamutz is flavorful and fresh tomatoes and pairs perfectly with the aged Romano. The sausage it shaved and the hot peppers have the right amount of spice and brine. Senapes in THE TRUTH.“
“In The Mix is hybrid between a dive bar, and a traditional pub. They carry quite an impressive selection of local craft and microbrew beers as well as the full assortment of domestic and imported beer. They also have a few beers on draught, including some crafts. The cocktails are generous and very well priced. The "regulars" are very nice and always up for a conversation as is the owner/bartender Mike. Highly recommend stopping in here.“

“Great little local place. Wait staff very friendly. Even made me an off the menu item. (Side salad, I'm sure they don't get many request for those). Tvs everywhere you look! Be a great place to watch sports. It is a smoking bar, so be prepared for that, if you don't smoke. Loved it! If ever back in town will definitely go back!“

“The bartender/server was great. She was funny, cute and down to earth like your best friends girlfriend that you wish you met first.Super local spot. Like “is this a VFW? But after waking in your like, damn, this place is pretty cool. The smoked wings are amazing and the smoked brisket sandwich is super good. I went for lunch, but I got the vibe that this place in the evening is the spot to good.“

“Came here for dinner with my fiancée Wednesday night April 3rd around 6pm. Kenny was our waiter. He was excellent, and provided outstanding service. He also recommended a beer on the drink list from a local brewing company which was greatThe restaurant is also very historic and has a lot of character. Overall it was a very cool experience to dine there. Highly recommend stopping in for dinner here“

“My family and I always enjoy this place every time we are in Jim Thorpe. It's got a neat atmosphere sitting in an old fire house. Food and drinks are top notch and even though they were busy last time we were there, the manager took care of us! Great place and so different than other places! A nice change up!“
