My teenage granddaughter and two of her friends went to eat at the Lebanon kugos yesterday afternoon they ordered three dishes. two of them came out at the same time and when they were almost done eating the last one came out which I think is ridiculous. they should have fed them together then they charge them 15% on the receipt that the kids say were not told about and then one of them paid in cash and they never gave her her change back. is this the kind of place kugos is?

Super disappointed. I hadn’t been to Kugos in a few years. Decided to get some sushi to go. I got two rolls that had avavado in it and the avacado was SO brown. Not just slightly brown. Grossed me out so I picked it out 🙄 too much $ for that!

Let me first say we used to love this place it never bounced back after COVID. Also having sushi in Myrtle Beach this feels like Giant grocery store sushi. Are table was set but had food on it when we came in today. $150 plus tip for 5 I need a clean table and fresher food.

The first time we ordered takeout from Kugo, we ordered the lobster tail hibachi which was dry and not fresh at all. Thinking it was maybe just a fluke, we ordered takeout again. The salad was limp and wilted. The rice was dry and lacking flavor. The steak was so dry it was difficult to even swallow let alone chew on. The sushi was horrible and tasted old. The veggies were clearly not fresh. Nothing seemed fresh in fact and frankly we did not end up eating any more than a bite of each item. It only took one bite to know this was bad food. Just plain bad. Only the bottled strawberry soda was decent.

Visited for the first time with our grandchildren and now wonder why we didn't go there before. Food, atmosphere, and service exceeded expectations. Wondering if they might need a better marketing plan.

The service was horrible. My partner and I were there first and everybody got served and we still didn't get served even after everybody got served. It was sad for the most part. The food is good the last time we went but this time around service was horrible and the last time the service was horrible. This will not be happening again. That's why I rated a one star

waited over an hour for takeout, never got it. guy tried to say i cancelled my order. i was standing there waiting for an hour, i dont understand the confusion. he did say he would make it for me real quick and give me a discount but by this point i was so hungry and my family was at home waiting. i understand accidents happen but i won't be back. best wishes.

The sushi was great but it all went down hill from there. I had put in a reservation and let them know we had 2 birthday celebrations. Our “chef” was very quiet. There was no interaction. When you go to a hibachi grill the “show” is part of it. There was none of the funny interactions, throwing food to you, big flame train, or chef to table interaction. The rice was plated 20
Mins before the rest of the food. One of our table guests had to find someone to fill our drinks. The shrimp and chicken were over cooked and the meat for some was raw while the other were charred beyond edible.

This was my second time here and I won’t be going back.

When the manager asked about the service everyone (other guests outside of our party of 4) stated the dissatisfaction and the response was “sorry, every chef is different” and offered 10% off the check.

I was very disappointed with the response and services.

The busboy who cleaned the grill station was more entertaining and sociable then the chef…

I will drive the 40 mins to another hibachi restaurant!
