Ate here for the first time, pizza wasn't very good. Was gonna take a chance and eat there again, this time trying their cheese steak. They are only excepting cash and doesn't really seem like they have any intentions of fixing the CC. They also seem slow business wise, and place didn't look very clean. That explains a lot!

The flavor of my pizza steak sub was really good. However, it was made kind of sloppy and I feel like the cheese and sauce could have been mixed in a little bit better. It was still very tasty and I will be back for more!

Disappointed, ordered a medium cheese pizza. Wanted to get fries but was completely disgusted by the big bowl with discolored french fries just sitting there. Me and my family just got out of a park nearby and we are about 35 minutes from our usual pizza spot so i decided to give it a try. We were the only ones there.

Pizza tasted weird maybe under done ? The sauce was off for sure. My husband and i didnt eat my kids ate more than us hopefully wont get sick ??

Gentleman who made the pizza also took my ordered handled the money establishment phone his PERSONAL cellphone was coming in and out of the work area to a side table eating touching backpacks wiping his face down scratching his beard and then coming right back to work on pizza dough.

Will not come back DO NOT recommend

Stopped in for dinner with my family. Placed our order, and waited. We ordered a cheeseburger sub, french fries, and a medium pepperoni pizza. The sub seemed practically flavorless. With the tomato, onion, and lettuce being the highlight. I was hesitant about ordering fries upon seeing the pre-cooked bowl of french fries out on the countertop. No idea how long they’ve been there. The fries, of course we’re over cooked after being refried, and almost like cardboard. The pizza came out pretty quickly, and was hot so we set it aside to cool. 10 minutes later and the grease had soaked through the pizza making the bottom soggy, and flimsy. Never had a pepperoni pizza so wet on the bottom. Aside from that the atmosphere wasn’t great at all even being the only ones there. Very dirty windowsills that are eye level collecting dust, and dead bugs. Won’t return based off of food quality alone.

I've lived in this general area my whole life (Hershey) and have passed Mama's many times in my travels, but never stopped. Since buying a Can-Am Ryker and wanting to ride it as much as possible I began driving to many pizza places for fun. Finally it was Mama's turn today. The fact that their credit/debit reader hasn't worked in a long time, I never felt like going for cash, and coming back, but I decided to do so today. The staff were fine, they don't blow you over with a huge welcome, but they aren't rude. I was treated fine, and ordered a small pepperoni pizza and a fountain soda. I was told it we be around 10 minutes, and I don't even think it was that long. The pizza looked and smelled really good, and it didn't disappoint. I love pizza, but for me to really recommend a place it has to be beyond "good" or "just okay." I can tell you that the pizza here is very good, and in my top 5 for sure. Trust me, that's a difficult spot to get into. If you're in the area and want a good pizza, you can trust Mama's to provide that. The atmosphere is fine, nothing special, sort of old looking, but not ugly and didn't appear to be dirty or anything to me. This is a pizza shop, plain and simple, and to me that's fine.

I have been patronizing Mama's Pizza for a number of years. I travel close to 40 miles one way to go there and this should give some indication of how I feel about the food.First. A note on some reviewer who've said the counter staff had been "rude", or "didn't thank us for the business."I have found the usual two gentlemen, one of whom is the owner, are very cordial if you indulge them in conversation FIRST. They want to give you a nice, tasty pizza or sandwich...they do not put things like, "So, what about this COLD, huh? I wonder how long it will last?"Gimme a break. The counter staff are New York in their style; they aren't RUDE, they are focused on doing a job. If you think being asked, "So what'll it be?" is rude, then I don't know what to tell you. I have had wonderful conversations while waiting for my Pizza to be made. The economy, the last lockdown, forced them to cut down on dining room staff. I am thankful that they are still in business.Ok, now for the review, which will be short and to the point (but NOT RUDE).Mama's pizzas remind me of great slices in The Village. RAY'S and JOHN's on Bleecker St.This is HIGH PRAISE. If you haven't been, you'll have to trust me. The thin crust is always perfect and the sauce? Sweet, but not overly so. Just right. In all the years I've been going there, I have NEVER received anything but a perfect, delectable pie. When the need for Mama's Pizza descends upon me, I have no choice but to go the near 40 miles from my home, and bring the huddled masses back two pies...almost always missing a slice that I HAD to put in my PIE Hole!Oh, and that brings up another important fact for pizza connoisseurs who eat their slice while driving; Mama's cheese never slides off, ruining a nice shirt or burning your neck and chin...or chin and neck. You fold it in half and enter Pizza Nirvana. And, as Forrest Gump would say around a mouthful of Mamma's; "That's all I have to say about that."
