We take our toddler here all the time! The icecream is some of the best I've had! They have lots of animals you can buy bags of feed inside to feed them too! There's a playground out front to play at and plenty of parking around the building! Also everything is very reasonably priced!
Patches is a favorite place to visit of mine and my family! Very friendly welcoming staff eager to help. Convenient drive thru window. Excellent ice cream, milk, bakery products, with plenty of seating. Lastly my favorite feeding and petting the animals.
Delicious ice cream! This is a fun, family-friendly place to enjoy some ice cream and take a break from the heat. I tried their limited time flavor Red, White, and Blue, a strawberry cheesecake ice cream with blueberry swirls. It was delicious!
First time went and it was really good. Everything homemade. Local veggies. Buy animal food and yiu can feed the animals from your hand. Will definitely go again.
Me and my Mom just got done helping my Pappy, and she offered to get me blueberry cheesecake ice cream from “Patches” the local family creamery. I happily obliged, it’s only five minutes from South Lebanon Elementary(just as a relative location).
When we got there, I realized how long it has been since I visited this establishment and there is still the same playground for kids and some of the trees nearby grew a little bigger than I remember, also I believe the family farm that is on the same road is also owned by the ice cream shop.
I included a few photos of the family farm, drive-through where I was greeted by a nice lady who was more than glad to show me the menu!!
I decided to head on in the store, and looked around where I took a picture of the families nice items that you can purchase which included candles and all sorts of other in-house comforts and amenities.
It was very full in the line which almost went out the door, so I didn’t intrude on taking too many pictures, but I believe they have extra freezer doors with lots of different flavors of ice cream, I’m pretty sure that you can come and take a tour to see their procedure in making the ice cream(if scheduled or ask).
There’s also a lot of outside picnic tables with shade and cover, and a lot of nice animals that you could possibly do a meet and greet if they are friendly enough to come up to the fence like goats, chickens, cows, pigs, and all your farm house delights!
Thanks to the Patches Family Creamery, I had a cool Saturday afternoon with a cup of ice cream and family!
Great place for tasty ice cream and playing with farm amimals
Friendly and great place for a well time there, to get some amazing ice cream!!! 🍨 You also get the experience of feeding animals and it's such a well around place to take friends and family with!!!
Came here for ice cream / milk to go . This is the second time . Enjoy the quality but is quite upset about the service . I ordered an organs and pineapple with Tea berry but I received banana and tea berry instead . The other orders were right. However , rather to offer an exchange they were just saying sorry. I will come back but just FYI to check your order before you leave the counter .
A lot of outdoor seating though.
Great local farm fresh milk. Their Icecream is delicious and creamy.
Great homemade icecream. Also has farm animals you can pet.

If you’re in the Lebanon area and need a quick, easy outing with kids, this spot is such a gem especially on a beautiful day.
We found it just a 7-minute drive from the Lebanon Expo Center, and it ended up being the perfect last-minute plan. There’s no cost to see the animals, which is a huge win, and my kids could’ve stayed there forever just interacting and watching them.
There’s also:
•A playground on-site, which made it easy to extend our visit
•A little market inside with local goods
•The ice cream is so good definitely worth getting
We ended up staying about 2 hours, but I’d say most families stay closer to 30 minutes to an hour. There’s a nice flow of people coming and going, so it never felt overcrowded.
Things to Know Before You Go:
•Parking can get a little busy, especially with park traffic
•You can park on the grass if needed
•There’s a drive-through, so just be mindful of cars moving through while walking around
Overall this is such a great free to low-cost option if you want something simple, fun, and kid-friendly without overplanning. It’s one of those places you can pop into and still feel like you made a full outing out of your day.
