Get the cheese plate! It was my favorite part of the meal. As my entree, I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was very dry. My husband had the braised short rib and he liked it but said it was a bit salty.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
Not the restaurant's fault, per se, but we were one of only 2 tables seated when we were there and we were right next to each other. The other table was full of about 6 teenagers who were quite loud, literally beat boxing...read full review
The atmosphere, food and service was great. Our waitress, Stephanie, was very attentive and sweet. Avocado toast was great and the Egg Benedict was a good size portion. We will definitely return.

Circa 1898 offers a great atmosphere, food, and service. The waitstaff is very friendly, attentive, and sweet, with specific mentions of a waitress who remembered a food allergy and went above and beyond. The manager is also very interested in feedback. The food is amazing, with highlights including the cheese plate (a favorite part of the meal), avocado toast, Egg Benedict (a good size portion), Classic American Breakfast with hash browns and bacon, blueberry pancakes, and a jalapeno burger with fries and queso (spot on, fresh cut, crispy, hot, and delicious). The queso was zesty but not overly spicy. However, one entree of shrimp scampi was very dry, and the braised short rib was a bit salty. The restaurant has a spacious patio, and features poker nights and live music. There is an extensive selection of bourbons from common to hard to find bottles. One note is that the dining area has been the cleanest ever seen.
