Large menu, great food and drinks with nice outdoor patios. Service was on the slow side, but it was a beautiful, sunny weekend afternoon.
It was our first time their and with our friends. All 4 of us thought it was delicious and our server (April) also was very good.
Realy, our food was delicious and bread is exceptional. Best bread I had since Padora's in Tamaqua closed. The atmosphere and furniture are beautiful. Our first time their was A plus. Thank you.

What a lovely place! The atmosphere was relaxing, food was 5 star, nice band playing and superb cocktails!! We enjoyed it so much and will be back! Thank you to Cheryl and a wills for the recommendation.

Circa 1898 offers a great atmosphere, food, and service. The waitstaff is very friendly, attentive, and sweet, with specific mentions of a waitress who remembered a food allergy and went above and beyond. The manager is also very interested in feedback. The food is amazing, with highlights including the cheese plate (a favorite part of the meal), avocado toast, Egg Benedict (a good size portion), Classic American Breakfast with hash browns and bacon, blueberry pancakes, and a jalapeno burger with fries and queso (spot on, fresh cut, crispy, hot, and delicious). The queso was zesty but not overly spicy. However, one entree of shrimp scampi was very dry, and the braised short rib was a bit salty. The restaurant has a spacious patio, and features poker nights and live music. There is an extensive selection of bourbons from common to hard to find bottles. One note is that the dining area has been the cleanest ever seen.
