Passed this place a thousand times and finally got around to stopping in. The sandwiches and wraps and amazing and the staff were very friendly. They also have a large selection of fresh bagels which are delicious as well. The atmosphere is woody and cute and they have outdoor seating as well. Great pricing, great food and great people.
I cannot say enough positive things about my recent experience at perch and Jim Thorpe. Not only was the food amazing – – best bagels outside of New York City? I think so – – but the staff was absolutely incredible. Traveling with two little ones under the age of five is exhausting to say the least, and this was hands-down our favorite meal with the best service we experienced our entire half week in this tiny city. If they aren’t famous for their home fries, they should be. I’m pretty sure instead of cooking them on a griddle, they are deep fried.
It definitely gets a rub from the great decor. It gives off vintage diner in LA, but with a view of scenic PA and the folks working are really nice.
