I was in town for business and we went to Joe’s after dinner - was totally my kind of bar - good people worried about their friend who lost his home welcomed our crazy group with open arms. So glad I found this gem I can’t wait to go back!
This bar is a liminal space. Unassuming exterior. Regular smoking dive bar in the front. Super friendly bartender and really cheap drinks. Bathroom was ridiculously clean. Nothing I can write will prepare you for what you will experience when you continue to the back of the bar. I don't want to spoil it. I will say, if you have a problem with hunting and taxidermy, do not come here. It is a feast for the eyes. Enjoy.

Great little dive bar and the heart of Ligonier. Upstairs they have what could best be described as a museum of taxidermy. Unbelievable the amount on display. Obviously this will not appeal to many. On that note, Joe's is also still smoking. So that is something to keep in mind. It is also cash only. Regardless, I think this place is worth checking out if you happen to be in the area.
