“Prior to visiting Franco’s I wouldn’t have considered myself an expert on Italian cuisine. However, upon tasting the (highly recommended by locals) food, I now know what Italian food is supposed to taste like. Perfection across the board…the food, the service, the owners…not fussy, not fancy, just exactly what it should be. The lasagna will heal lifelong soul wounds, the fettuccine Alfredo with a meatball will comfort you beyond expectations, and the meat ravioli will make you realize that a simple dish has surprising nuances of flavor you weren’t expecting. I live an hour and a half from Franco’s. I would make the trip to Williamsport even if this was the only place I would go.”

“First time to your wonderful cafe and Jamie was a very excellent waitress. She has a fabulous people personality and is very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is absolutely delicious and plentiful. The ice cream was the best around. “I went the week before Christmas to celebrate my best friend and my birthday…it was an amazing time. The staff was amazing could answer questions about certain types of beer. I wanted a pint glass so bad to purchase but there weren’t any on the shelf. I asked a worker if they had any in the back and showed him a picture…out he came with two brand new pint glasses. They are always coming out with new flavors that my friend and I can’t keep up! Awesome place to visit! Definitely 5 stars 🌟”

“Today was my first, and it will not be my last!! The food was prepared fast and good! Our waitress was, Jamie and she needs a raise. She handled the crowd with super skill. I don’t quite know how to explain it, but she has that skill extra polished. So friendly and prompt, and always available to serve your need. Thank you to Jamie and all the helpers, I didn’t know the other young ladies names but they also were friendly and always working. I can’t wait to visit there again!! 100% recommend the Shore Diner!!”

“We were here last evening. Food was amazing! Soup of the day was the best soup we’ve ever had. Cocktails were delicious. Service was great. Entrees were perfect. After struggling to decide on the short rib grilled cheese, French dip, or Irish smash, I went with the short rib grilled cheese which I highly recommend!”

My pancakes and sausage were perfectly done—pancakes were light and fluffy. We also ordered a roast beef and cheese on sourdough and kiddo loved it. The tailored cocktails were amazing and our server Kelly was delightful! Check them out if you’re in the area and looking for a unique and pleasant dining experience.”

“This business is a family type bar where everyone gets to know everyone. Last visit was a live band celebrating someone soon to be married. Saw several good friends, has many amazing drinks as well. Nice relaxing bar. It does need a redesign and fixed up a bit but it still is a place to call home.”
