Lititz Family Cupboard Restaurant & Buffet

The chef/cook needs help or cooking lessons. Coleslaw wasn't worth eating, corn was cold and tasteless as were the mashed potatoes. Server was great and very attentive.

I have been coming to LFC for years and it has been one of my favorite places to eat. The buffet used to be great with Lancaster County/PA Dutch staples. I should have known after reading recent reviews and seeing only four cars in the parking lot that I would be disappointed, but wanted to give it a fair chance.

Upon arriving, I was disappointed from the get go. The food at the buffet looked like it had been sitting for hours and most of it looked dried out. This makes sense since no one was eating. I used to absolutely love their rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes. You could taste the cream and butter in the potatoes but now it tastes like instant. The chicken was dried out and had no flavor. Same thing with the green beans, which were clearly from a bag of frozen green beans.

My husband got some of the pies, which were delicious, but if I remember correctly, they get their desserts from Cup and Cake next door and the restaurant does not make the desserts. The dessert was the only positive element of our experience there.

I made our waitress aware of the poor quality of the food but I didn't get the impression I'll be taken seriously.

I'm sad to say that I will not be returning to Lititz Family Cupboard anytime in the foreseeable future due to the poor experience we had. I really hope they take these more recent reviews seriously and make some changes to make LFC a great place to eat once again.

We turned around and left after being only in the foyer which was filthy. Windows mirror disgusting. Carpeting in desperate need of vacuuming. First impression pretty bad

What happened?!?!?!?!
This place used to be so good with more traditional local foods and flavors.
It seems this place got bought out and is more reminiscent of "diner ownership" trying to take over a place out if their league.

Best of luck but won't be back. Used to be a favorite stop during vacation.

I just brought my whole family here for Father's Day for the advertised brunch buffet. When we arrived it was listed on all menus but was closed with no explanation. I made special arrangements for my father visiting from our of town and my husband to come here. Not only that, but after we were seated, no one waited on us. We sat for 20 minutes before getting drinks. Then another 45 minutes before we got our food. The food was mixed up, orders missing, food burnt. And portions were so small. When the food came out one of the servers laughed that he accidentally touched and broken husband's eggs Benedict. Not only that, but my toddlers pancake had peppers and spices in it and tasted disgusting like it was microwaved. We wanted to send them back, but our server never came back after we got our food. We had to chase down a random server to get our check and when we finally got it, no apology was made for the horrible experience, food, or lack of service. She didn't even remove the inedible food from the bill. It was extremely embarrassing to have made plans for family to come to your restaurant and not only to have the false advertising of the buffet on Fathers day, but also to have had such horrible service. We've come to this restaurant for years and have never been treated this badly. What happened?

We came to this restaurant with a bus load - they knew we were coming. Our group had reservations for the buffet and it was really good! It's a pretty restaurant and the people were wonderful -- friendly, and the service was great! They just came out to the tour bus to tell us thank you for choosing their restaurant. Nice folk!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is great handicap parking and a ramp for entry to the building. Nicely done!

With the change of ownership, TFC has lost some of its appeal. As with most buffets, the food was never 5-star, but it was decent and the selection was "Lancaster County Appropriate". In recent months the quality has lessened and the selection does not have as much variety. The servers remain pleasant, but the host (owner maybe) comes off less friendly.

I've eaten at this restaurant now for the third time. Today was very disappointing! The taste of the food was good but the food at the buffet was lukewarm to cold. There were flies around the salad bar.

Service was terrible and we were her only table! Food was disappointing. Turkey was hard and noodles crunchy. My husband had ham loaf and the sauce looked like peaches. This has been our go to for comfort food for 20 years but I believe this is our last visit.

A group of 10 family members had the pleasure of eating here for the first time while visiting the area and were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful buffet and service we received at a very reasonable price! We definitely would return if back in the Lancaster region!

Came here due to a recommendation and I was highly disappointed the food was very bland you can tell the place has went down hill which is a shame i do have to say tho when I told the manager about the food he took care of us right away and the waitress was so sweet hope the place gets better so I can give it one more chance but as of now I will not be coming back
