My husband and I go here often. We have never had a bad experience! Always great food, drinks, and environment!
First time here and everything was great, excellent food and service
Have gone for their AYCE crab legs and shrimp nights. The first time was really good so tried again recently but things went horribly wrong despite doing what I should as a customer. I called the day of to confirm they were having the AYCE and got a 'Yes' then proceeded to make the reservation online as instructed and even put a note that it was for 'crab legs' for an hour after the AYCE was to start. We had an almost hour drive to the restaurant. Once we got there and informed them of our reservation, they told us that they weren't having the AYCE because they ran out of crab legs and had informed the manager to call all the customers with reservations but they actually didn't know if the manager would even call anyone and clearly their system doesn't allow for any of the staff to have the information to call or inform customers. I got no call before or while I was driving. This is such bad customer service and they should have known they didn't have enough crab legs to get through the entire day when I called around noon the day of. They had very poor planning for a normal weekly special. Then they actually were able to do the AYCE on Wednesday for New Year's Eve. Seriously? Like I was going to risk again to put in a reservation on a holiday and travel again an hour away when they couldn't have it on the night it had been for months but apparently unless they post about their 'specials' for the day on Facebook you can't trust anything they say over the phone.

Thoroughly enjoyed the service and the food. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve had. Their prices and quality were wonderful. They use beef tallow which is also a win in my book. We live about 45 minutes away, and, it was totally worth the drive. Can’t wait to come back!

We stopped for an early supper 4:30 .
Party of 4 . Got food poisoning almost immediately after leaving 2 in our party became quite sick . Called them next day they were open for business , which was 2 days later .
Spoke to someone told them of food poisoning. They took my name number what food we ate , said they would call me back .
They never called me back ????
If they would have called back , I would not have left a bad review . Not calling back , made me feel like I didn’t matter ! This is a mgt issue , or cook issue . Waitresses and bar have always been great , food hasn’t been an issue in past visits . Think issue came from French onion soup , or poppers ?? I’m just sad !!

This steak house is a hole in the wall joint, take from that what you will. If you're over 5 foot tall you won't find this place comfortable to be in. It's very pricey to eat here, now I understand that there not a chain restaurant and simply don't have the buying power that the chains do. But some menu items didn't even have prices on them. Parking is horrible, me and wife ended up just leaving with out ordering any food. This place isn't what it's hyped up to be and I doubt we will ever be back.

I’ve been here twice with family and enjoy their quality steaks. The prime rib, ribeye, and filet are all solid choices. The fish & chips is also great. The prices are a little on the high side, but the portions of the main courses (aside from filet) are usually large. From my experience, their side salads are typical of a lot of American restaurants - uninspired bowls of romaine with salty croutons and cheese and dressing. Would love to see these get a little upgrade. Yet I can’t complain too much, because I come here for the meats, not salads.
Atmosphere-wise, it’s kind of mixed. The location is literally next to a highway on a separate and parallel access road. The outside looks like a totally generic, nondescript building rather than a restaurant. The interior, however, has the feel of a local dive bar with its own flair and personality, which I think makes it more of a comfy dining experience. There is also a dining room extension, but it really doesn’t warrant any remarks other than it’s a room where you eat.
The service is what you’d expect from a roadside steakhouse/bar - down to earth and friendly, without much pretense. Not exemplary or world-class but also no complaints from either visit.
Overall I’d say it’s a pleasant 4/5 spot that’s in a bit of an odd location. If you’re in the Liverpool area and want a good steak, I’d recommend stopping here.
Parking: Parking lot is split into two sections, one right by the building and another strip of land facing the highway, both on the same road.
Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I remember, there are no stairs and everything here is mostly flat with minimal grades. The front door does not have an automatic opener.
