it's cozy for a local spot. probably won't add it to my list of places to visit next time I'm back.busy enough to get a spot at the bar to eat. they have local beers on tap. the food wasn't spectacular to make the location stand out.just wasn't memorable enough to recommend to others. garlic bread was even a little burnt.
Broken Axe Brew Pub has the atmosphere of the old neighborhood, corner bar/tavern. You can tell they pay homage to the blue-collar origins of Lock Haven with the decor throughout. Service is great, Meghan was very friendly and was able to make great spirits recommendations for our cocktails. Food was great! Apple Pie Creme Brulee for dessert was delicious! If you find yourself in downtown Lock Haven some evening, I'd recommend checking out Broken Axe Brew House.Vegetarian options: Their menu has a reasonable amount of options for vegetarian dining.
