“We have heard about Kinnera and have been regular customers of the same. Recently for our community event, we asked them to cater and they did not disappoint us at all. Food was awesome, spiciness was on point, all the guests enjoyed the food a lot and had only good things to say about the food. Their Double ka Meetha and Chicken Biryani were a sure hit. It lived up to its name. We are very impressed with Kinnera!!“

“I recently visited an Indian food truck and opted for take-out. The chicken fried rice and chilli chicken were both exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. The portions were generous, making it a great value for the price. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and quantity of the food“

“The lunch buffet is absolutely fantastic! I have eaten at many Indian places on the east coast and this one is great. I do usually go for the buffet, and this one really shines. A lot of Indian buffets have dishes that taste similar, but each item here is really flavorful. Chana Masala I usually pass on, but wow this one was popping with flavor. And a spicy mix of herbs and onion - kind of like an herby dry salsa - haven't seen this before but it was a lovely addition.“

“Malgudi Cafe feels like home. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. And the food is excellent. The food served at Malgudi Cafe is the food I'm served when I visit my friend's homes in India. It's a taste of India in Exton. The food is prepared to order and is consistently delicious, so I don't mind waiting occasionally. I also appreciate that I can ask any server for help. Anyone carrying a white handheld terminal can add to my order and close my check. It's convenient, especially when they're busy. My current favorite dish is the vegetable uttapam. I spent 3 1/2 weeks in India earlier this year and didn't find any uttapam that was better than Malgudi Cafe. Same goes for the chai - it's outstanding. Do yourself a favor and get to Malgudi Cafe. You'll be glad you did!“

“Best biryani in the Exton/Downingtown area. Went with a friend for a sit down lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant has limited parking and is small on the inside. We had no problem parking or getting a table though. Had a couple of Simosas as appetizers and Biryani as the main dish. Both were top notch. The Biryani serving was also very generous and I had to take some to go. I will definitely be going back.“

“Not your usual Indian! You’ll be greeted by the chef a very handsome softly spoken man who is very attentive & also very persuasive into letting him take charge of what you will eat. Pleasantly surprised was the outcome after 3 courses & lovely wine. The staff are one step ahead & know your every need from filling your glass to opening the toilet door for you. “I had lunch at this restaurant and tried the Jalapeño Gobi 65—it was superb! It tasted incredibly fresh, unlike anything I’ve had before. I also had Mandi, which came with a variety of chicken types, and it was excellent. And also I refer to eat onion pakoda for snacks, Definitely worth trying!“

“My wife and I have eaten in many Indian restaurants and this was by far the best food by far! Parki g is the only nightmare as it is street city parking with meters that cover your plate rather than the spot you are in and apparently only the app works not the coin or credit card.“

“Had the lunch special with Chicken Chettinah, Dal, Vegetable, Raita, Roti, Rice, Pickle and Dessert for under $11! Everything was excellent and it was basically two meal because I took half home. Staff is very relaxed and the place is super clean. The area definitely has it's fair share of Indian food, but this one is worth visiting for quality and price.“

“I have been going here since they opened bBest Indian food at a reasonable price. Food is also delicious. Eventhough there is language problem I still get by and go back whenever I crave for Indian food.
They also sell fresh goat meat, chicken all cleaned and cut into pieces. There is also seating if you prefer to dine in. There are no servers, it’s like fast food places, get your food and dine. Highly recommend this place.“

“If you're looking for great food and a casual dining experience, Spice Indian Thai Bistro is the spot! Spice Indian Thai Bistro is consistently delicious!! I hope the Chef is happy there because she/he are doing an amazing job! We ordered Samosa, Saag Paneer, Tandoori Grilled Salmon, Thai Curry, and Vegetable Biryani! All of our food was AMAZING with leftovers to enjoy later!

We had a very small mix-up with our takeout order, but the staff immediately fixed the issue, no questions asked, and even included a complimentary serving of kheer as a gesture of goodwill. “I’ve been going to Asian Halal for 10 years now. First to the Bensalem store and now to the Exton store. It’s in a convenient location with plenty of parking. I always order the meat and food over the phone and it’s promptly ready on time.The meat from their meat shop is cut fresh, packed neatly in trays and cheaper than other stores. They also do speciality meat cuts if you preorder just like any other butcher shop.The food is always hot and fresh and extremely reasonably priced compared to other Indian/desi restaurants.Their chicken tikka masala and kabobs are great. We always let them know to make it mild and they ensure that the food is not overly hot or spicy. We also really like their goat/lamb qorma which is delicious and fresh naan.The staff is very friendly and cooperative. However, I have realized that a lot of customers who come there sometimes act very impatient and impolite. These same people would act differently when they go to other high end stores and wait patiently in line. I’ve witnessed people arguing with the staff about paying for an extra 0.2 lbs of meat in a package. I believe the staff handle such nonsense very humbly. Overall I would highly recommend this store and restaurant.“

“We went here for lunch thinking we'd get a buffet. The new owner told us the buffet wouldn't be set up until December, but offered us a tasting menu and WOW was it worth it! The chicken Tikka was some of the best I've ever had, the lamb was rich and delicious, and the Naan....ohhh the Naan! Nice restaurant, friendly staff, affordable and delicious. If you're in the area and like Indian food I highly recommend giving it a shot!“
