“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!“

“A bit disappointed. Love the space but my meal was nothing special. Mixed vegetables were good but only warm. Baked potato was warmer, but not hot. The star of the show would have been the crab cake but there was nothing special there. The menu says jumbo lump crab. If there was lump crab meat, then they shredded it up to make the cake. I could get a crab cake that good or better almost anywhere. We've had good food here in the past, but unfortunately this meal was nothing special.“

“This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“The Cove has been one of our top 3 restaurants for years. No doubt I would still recommend them to anyone BUT we were there on Friday and I was SO disappointed. They changed their fries! They used to be so crispy and good, double fried (I'm guessing) in peanut oil. Now they're just ordinary. I'm not generally a big fan of fries, but I loved theirs. I also have a full drink. Menu would definitely return.“

“As a semi-regular overseas visitor to the USA, going to Chili's is always an event.....loved the food (I have a thing for the chicken crispers) and the server Steve was really attentive and courteous. They are suffering (like everywhere else) from staff shortages and we were put into the waiting area even though there was no shortage of free tables. We had to wait slightly longer than usual but it didn't detract from the overall experience.“
