“I ordered my first with some hesitation, but it was worth it. I ended up ordering from this place like 3 time this week. Tried vijaywada biyani, gunpowder dosa, chicken kottu parotta, and some other non veg curries. They were all so yummmm. Also ask them for their special talapakattu biryani (goat). OMG Its not made with basmati rice , but tastes 1000 times better than most of biryani i have had.“

“We celebrated our 21st anniversary at Chef Max’s counter on a Friday night. Words cannot describe how amazing the experience is at the chefs counter. There is so much love and art put into every meal. Not only is the food amazing and taste out of this world, the experience watching the process is equally entertaining. “This is my new favorite Korean bbq spot. The food is on the pricier end but it was so worth it. They use charcoal grill so the meats have a smoky flavor and it’s delicious. Food also comes with a bunch of side dishes that pairs so well with the meat. Service is also great, they will cook for you if you ask. Highly recommend this spot, can’t wait to go back!“

“Food: was very tasty, portions were decent, and presentation was great.
We had:
empanadas de pollo and beef,
pastelillos de pollo and beef,
bolitas de yuca (AMAZINGGGGGG!!!!),
Salmón con una salsita de maricuya
Arroz con pollo (delicious!)
Churrasco con tostones arroz blanco y frijoles rojos,
Pargo frito con tostones y papas.
We did not have dessert because we were full but everything was tasty.

Service: Don’t get me wrong our waitress was nice but lacking a bit when it being of service. I’m not sure if it’s a new spot or maybe it’s a generational thing but simple things like plates were brought after the appetizers were there, we kept asking for napkins and it was few at a time. Also at one point the counter girl was on her phone and got bothered when we asked for napkins.

Price: decent not too expensive.

Atmosphere: clean!!! Very very clean. We sat by the door for kitchen which the sound was annoying but the place is nicely decorated.

Overall I’d go again for the food hopefully service would be better.“

“We had my son and future daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at the Newtown location tonight. It was fabulous!!! Everything was done so well and the food was delicious and never stopped coming!! “My husband & I were on our way to a Phillies game yesterday when it got postponed. The next exit off the NE Extension was Harleysville to turn around. I hopped on Yelp! and found Jesse’s - we wanted to eat before heading back home to Berks County. We are SO glad we did! The BEST BBQ ever!! The staff was super friendly & helpful with recommendations, since it was our first time. We went with the BBQ Sampler & added cornbread muffins with honey butter. EVERYTHING was delicious! I’m, personally, not a lover of ribs…they might have been my favorite!!! Looks like we have a new place to stop when we are heading to Phillies games!!! Or we need to find reasons to go to Souderton so we can get to Jesse’s more often!!“

The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. The duck in gravy and the jerk chicken stole the show before we had the dessert. After being impressed, we dug deeper into the menu. The coffee ice cream was super creamy and the cake was moist and decadent. Nile Cafe is special. Although there isn't much on the menu we didn't try, the food was definitely worth a revisit. I might just stop in for dessert when I'm around.“
