“We had our stepdads 80th birthday here last night 7/12, there were 19 of us and everything was fantastic! The waitresses and the staff were very accommodating to us, allowing us to take over the dining room with our own entertainment even ! We brought our own cake & the staff brought it out to him and we sang HBD and they then cut the cake and served us ! The food was delicious and even though they were short staffed , they still were right there for anything we needed!! Thank you so very much!!“

“The new owners did a great job keeping all the antique aspects while sprucing the place up! Menu is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. The quality of ingredients really shows through. “This place is absolutely incredible I never go out to bars but I love wings and a good friend of mine told me to try it and my God it did not disappoint I ordered Mild with medium to try because when it comes to spicey I am not able to handle much heat but the Mild was just the right amount the crispy crunch of the wing also soft and chewy I don't know how they do it but it is just perfect they are also the biggest wings I have ever seen and eaten I bought an order of the mild and an order of the garlic and they were both incredible. After enjoying that, I also looked on the menu and seen, they had minnie potato pancakes and that is also another one of my favorite things, so I ordered that and some seasoned fries just to try everything. And it was just absolutely incredible The people in there especially the bartender named Matt he was so quick and friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was just so warm. Everybody was so nice and welcoming and I just don't know what else to say. If you're looking for a nice little place to go and have some incredible food and have a few drinks and a good time. I would highly recommend trying out this place. You won't be sorry. I also seen a bunch of people ordering pizzas and they were absolutely loaded with food I myself haven't had the pizza yet but will be back for more incredible wings and pancakes and will definitely be trying the pizza“

“I dont know how this place is during the week days but I go when the DJ is there, it's a fun time but the smoke in there from people smoking in there is enough to choke a horse. Dont wear your good clothes or it will be covered by cigarette smoke. They have to get a air filter system in there..“

“I actually really enjoyed this bar. It's definitely a smaller hole in the wall type establishment and can get very crowded but was a great time for my friends and I.What makes this bar get 5 stars however is the bartender. Even though he was incredibly busy he covered my Soda free of charge when he found out I was the designated driver. While $1 is practically meaningless to me, seeing him observe the position I was in and choosing to cover my drink even when I was happy to pay made this place stand out to me. Most people do not enjoy being the sober driver so the gesture really made an impression on me about what kind of establishment this was.“

“I stopped in to grab dinner while I was working. I took a seat at the bar and ordered the steamed clams with a soda chaser. The bartender Lauren was friendly, the clams were delicious and the conversation with the couple at the bar was pleasurable. The place had great atmosphere is deceptively large inside. “16th Ward was one of the few places open late on a Sunday as my wife and I were driving home from a long trip. We received absolutely amazing service, great drinks, and phenomenal food! Every aspect of our time at 16 Ward was top-notch! Having just had two disappointing dinners the past two nights at two highly acclaimed restaurants in the Fingers Lakes, 16th Ward was not a planned stop but was an amazing discovery! We will be back many more times! It was not until I went to write a review (something I rarely ever do), that I realized that our amazing host/server was the owner. He could not have been nicer! Amazing experience and priced well below what many of us often pay for much lower quality food, drinks, and service. Thank you!“

“I just moved to the Scranton/Dunmore area from New York City. I was looking for a local place to “hang my hat”. After trying several local establishments, someone told me I should try Crotti’s on Ash. I met Sheila, the owner, who is fantastic about managing, serving and booking the bands for the place.
I walked in on a Monday night and saw Clarence Spady playing a rendition of “Hey Joe” that floored me. If you don’t know who Clarence is- Google him. I’ve been coming back ever since. Every band or person that plays here is extremely impressive and high quality. Coming from NYC, it’s difficult to impress me but everything about this place is awesome. The people here are warm, good-hearted souls that make everyone feel welcome- Even a displaced person from New York City!“

“Here on a Thursday night at 6 for a nice dinner! This Saloon is fantastic! A very comfortable rustic atmosphere surrounded by what seemed to be to me some of the friendliest people in the area. The waitress was comfortably both very respectful, professional and friendly at the same time. After settling down to a very tasty, and well presented meal "cooked to perfection I might add" we chose to have a couple of drinks, while there, musicians started setting up equipment and soon they started the entertainment, and we were impressed by the quality of music that we were fortunate to be experiencing. Turns out it was Legends open mic night and threw the next couple of hours the musicians rotated on stage and brought what at least for us and apparently the rest of the clientele was a very enjoyable evening!! After traveling 30 some miles to check out what some friends had said about Legends Saloon, I must say that we will definitely be coming back for a repeat and more than likely it will be on a Thursday! Who knows maybe even a weekly thing! A big hats off to Legends Saloon!!“
