“I SAID DO NOT RECOMMEND and it was changed! We had a group of 6 women here for a work conference. This was my third stay at this hotel which itself is beautiful. However, lastnight a male "hotel staff member" with no warning, no call, no knock attempted to enter one of the ladies' room (not once but) twice at approximately 10:30pm. This man was adamant that he must come in and have my friend's ID and credit card. CLEARLY the hotel already had this information on file as her very uniquely spelled name had been displayed on the the television "sleep screen" and her card has the "hold charge for incidentals". So what was he really doing there late at night? GREAT QUESTION!!!! One that has yet to be answered as the desk staff last night ignored her call for help, the manager, General manager everyone thus far that has been spoken to has not taken her fear or safety seriously!!!! THERE IS NEVER ANY AN APPROPRIATE TIME FOR A MALE HOTEL EMPLOYEE TO ATTEMPT TO GAIN ENTRANCE TO A FEMALE GUEST ROOM, UNINVITED, UNANNOUNCED, WITHOUT CALL, WITHOUT KNOCKING AND WITHOUT CAUSE!!!! This is a very serious issue!!! Thanks to a handful of bad staff or very obviously poor policies you've destroyed all sense of safety I once felt staying there.“

“Food and service were average. I would come back because it's great value for money. There's a pub and some arcade games for groups looking for a good time and there's a "quiet area" if you just want to have a laid back evening. The highlight of it all is the place itself. Well preserved 1800s building“

“Wednesday is their steak night. Their steak is the best around and their prices are good. They have a cozy atmosphere. Not the typical “bar”. I go there about once a week.“

“Saturday night 12 August we had our Holy Rosary alumni get together for all who attended. Attendees from the 1950s through the 1990s. A wonderful get together for people to catch up with old friends and make new ones. I have had several parties at the colony. The folks at the colony are so wonderful to work with and the food was complimented by many in attendance. Everyone commented on the event and the colony. I you are looking for a place to have a gathering take a look at the colony. kind Regards Joe McGill MD“

“We went to the Cab tonight for a quick bite and we're so impressed. From the large menu, friendly staff, to the decor. All good! Our server was the absolute SWEETEST! Definitely will be back soon! Food was excellent as well!“

“The outside seating with a view of the lake is awesome. I loved sitting outside while eating. The service was great and fast. The food was great too. I ordered the walleye sandwich, cole slaw, and a baked potato. I usually don’t like cole slaw at restaurants but it was surprisingly good. I liked that the restaurant is kid friendly. They have live ducks out front that you can get your picture in front of. The tiki bar area looks fun too. They had live music.“
“A great lil place to shoot a game of pool with the locals, or watch a game, or just enjoy a quiet beer in the afternoon. PLUS you can get a Greek dog or sauerkraut loaded Smith's dog for $1.25! You can't beat it. Tell them Lee the "EVIL Knievel" sent ya! And they will treat you like family.“

“I know I should not leave 4/5 as I don't smoke but everyone do. ?. But their food is surprisingly good. And 2009 cheap.
For a very long I don't see a $1 pop and $7 sausage.
Therefore, I bought two to go. And paid 20% tips. The staff cannot be more friendly. If you can get used to drink and smoking. This should be your go to place.Will absolutely try their breakfast some other day.
Plus, really love their eagle's song“
“This an awesome place if you’re from out of town on a fishing charter trip or being a tourist. Great bartenders, great service! Jessica, Tara, and Joe are so nice, polite, and wonderful!! Highly recommend Hi and Dri!
Parking: Only had to walk across the street to get to our hotel, but parking lot is big.“

“The food here is classic pub food, everything I've had so far has been quite good and their fries are amongst the best I've ever had. The service is amazing however if you come at the wrong time you likely won't see a bartender / sever for a decent bit of time even if your sitting at the bar. Something to note is that smoking is allowed, though I'm not sure if there's a no smoking area.“
“Though we probably didn’t visit at the best time of day or year, we had a really good experience at Sullivan’s. As a Philly native, their cheesesteak was surprisingly good. The bartender was very friendly and gave good bar suggestions for other places in Erie. The atmosphere wasn’t great though, I think the AC was busted so it was super hot, and the helipad across the street is very loud. Still a really cool divey Irish pub with great food.“

“The music (House of Rhythm) was awesome, the food was excellent (greek burger and bacon burger), the service was so-so. Once our original waitress left for the day, it was hard to get another waitress to service our table again. Will give it another try in the future.“
