“Saturday night 12 August we had our Holy Rosary alumni get together for all who attended. Attendees from the 1950s through the 1990s. A wonderful get together for people to catch up with old friends and make new ones. I have had several parties at the colony. The folks at the colony are so wonderful to work with and the food was complimented by many in attendance. Everyone commented on the event and the colony. “The outside seating with a view of the lake is awesome. I loved sitting outside while eating. The service was great and fast. The food was great too. I ordered the walleye sandwich, cole slaw, and a baked potato. I usually don’t like cole slaw at restaurants but it was surprisingly good. I liked that the restaurant is kid friendly. They have live ducks out front that you can get your picture in front of. The tiki bar area looks fun too. They had live music.“

As I looked through the restaurant area, the decor was breath taking and I felt like I was in a upscale modern tavern. The cocktail I selected tasted like it was made with the freshest ingredients, it was delectable, and although I did sip it, I could not drink it fast enough. The service was absolutely thrilling. Looking around, everyone's glass was always filled and the bartender seemed to leave us with the perfect amount of time to make our food and drink choices. When the food quickly arrived my taste buds were absolutely tickled. I was left smiling and satisfied. I will definitely be dining at this fine establishment again very soon.“

“Though we probably didn’t visit at the best time of day or year, we had a really good experience at Sullivan’s. As a Philly native, their cheesesteak was surprisingly good. The bartender was very friendly and gave good bar suggestions for other places in Erie. The atmosphere wasn’t great though, I think the AC was busted so it was super hot, and the helipad across the street is very loud. Still a really cool divey Irish pub with great food.“

“Small place right on the water. Smaller menu. Tried my first soft shell crab sandwich here. Drinks are delish and super reasonable! Parking wasn't bad during the week, but on weekends I'm sure it is awful because there is very little for several places.
