“I SAID DO NOT RECOMMEND and it was changed! We had a group of 6 women here for a work conference. This was my third stay at this hotel which itself is beautiful. However, lastnight a male "hotel staff member" with no warning, no call, no knock attempted to enter one of the ladies' room (not once but) twice at approximately 10:30pm. This man was adamant that he must come in and have my friend's ID and credit card. CLEARLY the hotel already had this information on file as her very uniquely spelled name had been displayed on the the television "sleep screen" and her card has the "hold charge for incidentals". So what was he really doing there late at night? GREAT QUESTION!!!! One that has yet to be answered as the desk staff last night ignored her call for help, the manager, General manager everyone thus far that has been spoken to has not taken her fear or safety seriously!!!! THERE IS NEVER ANY AN APPROPRIATE TIME FOR A MALE HOTEL EMPLOYEE TO ATTEMPT TO GAIN ENTRANCE TO A FEMALE GUEST ROOM, UNINVITED, UNANNOUNCED, WITHOUT CALL, WITHOUT KNOCKING AND WITHOUT CAUSE!!!! This is a very serious issue!!! Thanks to a handful of bad staff or very obviously poor policies you've destroyed all sense of safety I once felt staying there.“

“I have been going to this bar as far back as when it used to be PI Nights! Great job the new owners have done with not only the food, but the interior updates and the summer patio! “Food and service were average. I would come back because it's great value for money. There's a pub and some arcade games for groups looking for a good time and there's a "quiet area" if you just want to have a laid back evening. The highlight of it all is the place itself. Well preserved 1800s building“

“I ordered the Diamond steak 10oz takeout medium-rare and I have to say it is hands-down one of the best in the Erie PA area. It was as tender and flavorful as a filet and would highly recommend. I wished I had another for a reasonable $20 with mashed & a tossed salad.

Parking: Plenty of parking beside and at the rear of their lot.

“Saturday night 12 August we had our Holy Rosary alumni get together for all who attended. Attendees from the 1950s through the 1990s. A wonderful get together for people to catch up with old friends and make new ones. I have had several parties at the colony. The folks at the colony are so wonderful to work with and the food was complimented by many in attendance. Everyone commented on the event and the colony. “We went to the Cab tonight for a quick bite and we're so impressed. From the large menu, friendly staff, to the decor. All good! Our server was the absolute SWEETEST! Definitely will be back soon! Food was excellent as well!“

“Kabryena was amazing. I came in with 7 ppl and she had a full bar on top of a party in the corner… she rocked it. Kept a great attitude as a manager of a bar I was very impressed w her and her personality while being busy. I’d defiantly come back especially if she was working“

“Went to Mc’s for the first time a few weeks ago , now it’s become my favorite sidebar . The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are good .The food is delicious ! The iron wings are the best I’ve had in years . I will definitely be ordering food from there again.“

“A great lil place to shoot a game of pool with the locals, or watch a game, or just enjoy a quiet beer in the afternoon. PLUS you can get a Greek dog or sauerkraut loaded Smith's dog for $1.25! You can't beat it. Tell them Lee the "EVIL Knievel" sent ya! And they will treat you like family.“

“The outside seating with a view of the lake is awesome. I loved sitting outside while eating. The service was great and fast. The food was great too. I ordered the walleye sandwich, cole slaw, and a baked potato. I usually don’t like cole slaw at restaurants but it was surprisingly good. I liked that the restaurant is kid friendly. They have live ducks out front that you can get your picture in front of. The tiki bar area looks fun too. They had live music.“

“I know I should not leave 4/5 as I don't smoke but everyone do. ?. But their food is surprisingly good. And 2009 cheap.
For a very long I don't see a $1 pop and $7 sausage.
Therefore, I bought two to go. And paid 20% tips. The staff cannot be more friendly. If you can get used to drink and smoking. This should be your go to place.Will absolutely try their breakfast some other day.

“Ordered for the first time tonight. Reasonable prices. Delivery was quick and the driver was friendly. Loved the pizza. Generous amount of toppings and plenty of sauce so it wasn't dry like many other shops, also loved the cheese! We will definitely order again.“

“The food here is classic pub food, everything I've had so far has been quite good and their fries are amongst the best I've ever had. The service is amazing however if you come at the wrong time you likely won't see a bartender / sever for a decent bit of time even if your sitting at the bar. Something to note is that smoking is allowed, though I'm not sure if there's a no smoking area.“

“Though we probably didn’t visit at the best time of day or year, we had a really good experience at Sullivan’s. As a Philly native, their cheesesteak was surprisingly good. The bartender was very friendly and gave good bar suggestions for other places in Erie. The atmosphere wasn’t great though, I think the AC was busted so it was super hot, and the helipad across the street is very loud. Still a really cool divey Irish pub with great food.“

“I dropped in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. First, I love a bar with hooks for your purse and a foot rest so your legs don’t go numb. Second, service is fantastic. All the White Buffalo staff take care of you. If they notice your drink is low, they ask if you want another. They check if your order is correct and if you need anything else. All the staff care, not just an assigned server. Few places run this way. I got a salad with hot wing sauced chicken and steamed vegetables – brilliant idea. You don’t need dressing, because the sauce is the dressing. I loved that you have an option of grilled or fried chicken. The kitchen staff has chicken down – moist, not over cooked. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the salad greens were mixed greens – not plain iceburg. It was wing night, so many around me were eating wings – they serve the biggest wings I have seen. The White Buffalo has many wing flavors and from what I saw, cook to order. Sitting at the bar, I could also see they offer lots of liquor options. I enjoy trying new brands and flavors, this bar does not disappoint. They also have some fun top shelf sippers. Looking forward to returning and trying some new treats.“
