“It's always cramped. Parking is a nightmare. Workers are nice, food is nice. Went for a wake on a Friday at noon. Very nice buffet. Everyone loved the donut hole and fruit skewers! I hate eggs and I had French toast for the first time in over 30 years. It didn't taste egg-y at all ! I was thrilled!“
“We went there on Taco night and were not disappointed.This is a nice neighborhood bar/restaurant on the upper Eastside of Erie. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. We ordered the food and drinks and waited about 8 minutes for the food. The salad was cold, and there were not any wilted leaves in the bowl. The taco was very good, and the soft shells were not old or dried out.We have gone here on numerous occasions and have not had any issues with the food or staff.If you enjoy going to a nice neighborhood bar with good food, this should be one of your destination favorites.“

“JR's, Sloppy Duck, is in the marina. Great view of the bay and the boats. The food was good, and the service was fast. The home made chips with old bay were great with drinks. The hamburgers are good and huge. This is the off season so the outdoor bar was closed but they did have outdoor seating on the bay side of the building.“

“I've been a member of The Erie Club since 2014, and I have never had anything less than excellence at my table! The first time I was there - as a guest - I had the Angus Burger with Cheddar and Fries, and it was the best damn burger I ever had. Just yesterday, I had the same meal in the pub and it was just as good as that first burger was back then! Even in the relaxed atmosphere of the pub, every bit of service and food and drink - was top ring. I like a Tito's & Tonic with a pinch of salt, and believe it or not, this order causes problems for some folks, but not here. I had four drinks and every one of them was just as good - and perfectly mixed - as the one before it! Couple all of this with being able to have a cigar during my lunch, and I'm in MY world! Once again, a truly stellar experience!“

I'm a bartender in Erie and I feel like a lot of us are drawn to his business because he genuinely takes the time to make sure you're happy and you found exactly what you're looking for. This is my go to spot for any beer I might have trouble finding elsewhere. If he doesn't have it, nobody will. The bartenders are so friendly and also very knowledgeable. “I did the work on this bar when it changed hands to the new owners. The new owners are all about making it a great place to hangout and enjoy food,music and friends. The food is great,they have a special almost daily and it will get out of the kitchen fast. It has pa skill games to play, pool table, darts and more. “This is a completely different place than when I used to sing there professionally for years! While the old place was absolutely phenomenal and I miss the owner dearly, the new staff is exceptional and the crowd/clientele is amazing! I have yet to try their food but many people were enjoying their food, the drinks were reasonably priced, and there was a wonderful energy in the room. The atmosphere was exceptional, it reminded me of when people used to go to watch live music and there was standing room only. If you want to hear live bands this is the place to go!
