“We attended a Veteran's brunch for Memorial Day weekend. The food was great and so was the service. The Healing Wall was set up in the field behind the building. I'm very grateful and honored to have seen it in person and I appreciate the Zem Zem Shrine for hosting it. Thank you Paul Anfuso and all of the Veterans for your service.“
“I have been coming to Oliver's for a few years now. It's just about some of the best food in Erie with some of the best views of the bay! This place gets slammed on holidays and during special events, so reservations are recommended. The service here is generally pretty good. We have always had knowledgeable wait staff and friendly bartenders. Their drink sizes and flavors have certainly changed over the last year. Right now they want you to pay $17 for a blackberry margarita that is NOT fresh whatsoever. It is a mix and the flavor is just not there. The regular margarita is the same flavor, only for $9. This needs to change, pronto. Please add more options with mezcal and Prosecco. You should be on par with other fine dining restaurants around the country! The food is always excellent. I have had the pork chop, steak and souvlaki salad on my most recent visits. The waffle dessert is a sure fire favorite and my husband never lets me share his :) A great ending to a fine meal. We'll always return to Oliver's, but would love to see some new menu items and also a tweak of the drink menu.“
“It's always cramped. Parking is a nightmare. Workers are nice, food is nice. Went for a wake on a Friday at noon. Very nice buffet. Everyone loved the donut hole and fruit skewers! I hate eggs and I had French toast for the first time in over 30 years. It didn't taste egg-y at all ! I was thrilled!“
“I have always had a great experience here! It is such a fun dining experience. Our server went above and beyond to make sure our meals were exactly what we wanted.The presentation is EVERYTHING! I love how they serve their dishes in such fun unique ways. The chefs are top notch and the taste is exceptional. Also, the mocktail menu made it fun for everyone. This is one of our TOP spots in Erie!“
“First time customer and was not disappointed. I met a few friends here and we were greeted and seated right away. The waitress was quick and sweet. We never felt rushed and felt very comfortable. I got the veggie pizza and a house salad, both were amazing! You have to make sure you save room for the s’mores flat bread… you will Not be disappointed ?“
“My family and I love this place. It's built in an old train station and the ambiance is amazing. Every time I have gone the service has also been very good. Now I have gotten almost everything on the menu from the numerous times I have gone. What stands out to me is the burgers, sandwiches, and the PRETZALS. If you're going to this place you have to try the pretzels they are to die for. They also have a very wide selection of beers. I usually get the turkey rachel with american instead of swiss which is really good. A few things that I haven't liked are the nachos. It's almost like they put some shredded cheese on tortilla chips under a hot plate. Another thing is they had a special for a cajun shrimp pasta (pictured) and it was horrible. It tasted like spicy watery pasta. Other than those two items I love this place. I recommend this to visitors and everyone because of the location and good food!!!“
“Food was amazing service was a bit slow atmosphere is really cool it's a must stop if your into good food and drinks along 20's 30's decor. Just be ready to not be checked on often. Server was attentive when she did come to table but waited awhile after done eating. Let's see if the walk around has any spooky surprises lol.“
“Not often do you walk into a Tavern and immediately get GREAT SERVICE and WARM HOSPITALITY.....The DJ, his brother, sister, father(Chuck) and brother in law ALL were SO GREAT that they invited us to RINGSIDE were we met The Owner who ALSO was a GREAT GUY.We traveled here from Philadelphia just for the weekend, and man what a GREAT weekend it was just from a stop @ The Ugly Tuna....Thank and Best RegardsIf EVER again in Erie.... “We barely walked out the door, and I couldn't wait to leave a review. I am from Erie, grew up here, but live in Cleveland now. And this restaurant trumps every place we've been in the past 5 years! We literally found this place by accident, and couldn't be happier. It is perfectly small, with more integrity than most high end restaurants I've been to in any "big" city anywhere else. Food was PHENOMENAL!! Filet mignon was the best I've ever had, and pork belly tacos were simply impeccable. Chef was someone we could've easily talked to for hours, so kind and personable. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!! ❤️“
