“We've driven by so many times and finally planned our visit! A small, nondescript place with out of this world food!! Very limited seating. We got there right at 5:30 on a Friday, and by the time we got our food 10 min later, all the tables were full and the line was almost out the door. Plan to go early or get takeout! Friendly, kind service. I loved that there was sriracha, hoisin, and soy on the tables. We ordered 2 sushi rolls - the Angry Shrimp and a California roll! They are good! I got the chicken pho and my fiancé got the shrimp bang mi. He raved about the bread and just how fresh all the components were. The Pho was amazing and a huge portion. Can't wait to go back and try more things and get some boba!“

“Contrary to what's been posted here, you don't have to be a member to host a private event in the Club. Since the turn of the new year the dining hall has been rented out almost every Saturday for private events.Most of the events were hosted by non-member parties.“

As a person with a strict gluten free diet, I loved being able to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten free items but items that could be made gluten free! “I come with my husband for lunch. We always get the lunch special and he LOVES the soup that comes with it. I adore the Tum Yum veggie soup. The summer roll is so fresh and the crab app is crispy and always hot. It’s a family owned business so that just makes it even better. You can’t go wrong with anything you get. Try the Musaman curry with beef. The owner is so sweet and that’s what keeps my husband and I coming back for more.“

“Stopped in for an early dinner. Ordered the fresh rolls, garlic pepper chicken and green curry tofu. All were excellent. Great service. Calm atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Nice selection of vegan options. Plan to go again!! Worth the trip.“

“JJ Panda is our go-to in the area for Asian takeout. The food is always tasty and warm when we pick it up. The service is spot-on with the food always being ready when we pick it up. “Small mom and pop Taiwanese restaurant. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Despite always my always ordering in Chinese, they are always ready to take an order in English.The food offered is an expansive menu of Taiwanese classic cuisine and even some combo options. The food is always fresh, delicious and made to order!They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions and preferences. If you have questions or concerns, just ask!“

“I got the TanTan Ramen and it was very good! Some of the best ramen I have ever had. And the service was very quick! I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a good place to get some ramen in Pittsburgh! I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area.“

“My teenaged son and I had a perfect meal there last evening. We needed a stress-free night out more than I realized and it was flawless. There were only 2 people working FOH and diners as well as take-out orders kept pouring in. While we waited only slightly longer for our entrees than we would have if at full-staff, it was so incredibly worth it. Everything was beautifully executed and filled with flavor. The service was handled with such care and never felt rushed. I highly recommend this gem!!! (Treat yourself to the Thai Milk Tea!!!)“

“I loved this place so much, and I find myself often thinking about their food when I'm hungry. I just wish they weren't exclusively in the mall since I just find it awkward to venture there to grab their food. Even writing this is making me hungry for the noodle there, I just can't get enough of this place! The workers are always friendly and the service is wonderful. More people should give their little shop a try, and I'm regretful I hadn't tried them sooner.“

“Came here for late dinner after arriving in Pittsburg - surprisingly good and authentic Chinese food prepared by a local. We had the onion pepper beef, pan fried dumpling, sautéed string beans and Taiwanese sausage fried rice and the dishes were all delicious. Portions were pretty big and we even had leftovers for breakfast. Atmosphere is casual.“

My best friend used to dine here in the 90s with her grandparents and was always a favorite ❤️ Last year, we decided to make Chan’s Tea House an annual tradition every year when she visits from out out of town. “It's fine. It's also open late, a rarity in this city. Be warned that parking is hard as hell (serious). I took an illegal spot behind a factory and took a walk to get there. The service was fine for me, but that is as always ;). I was looking desperately for a potent soup, and fortunately Ocha serves typical Thai soups in smalls, larges, and extra large noodle soups. I took the noodle soup with some spring rolls. The spring rolls are great. My 5/5 tom yum was a little spicy but enough to help with my cough and clear my sinuses. I enjoy the interior. Yes, it is hot, but it's also cold outside. I will return to see the specials of the chef. The pricing isn't all cheap but it can be worth it considering they have dine-in at late hours.Parking: No parking is typically available. If you are lucky, you can park somewhere on the street within 5 walking minutes. I found a spot behind a business about a 7 minute walk away.Kid-friendliness: Nothing explicit for children. In fact, it plays wonderful modern Thai music with heavy bass.Wheelchair accessibility: It's street level. No stairs involved. Should be simple for wheelchair users. However, there are constant plates on the sidewalk.“
