“We went there for take out on Sunday night for dinner. Tried a small babaganus, regular falafel, one assorted aladin special kebab platter and one seesh kebab platter. The platters comes with buttered rice. Some of them comes with salad as well. The food taste really great. All the kebabs were very well cooked There, flavorful and tender. Babagsnus was very tasty as well. There was a pita with one of the above dishes but not sure with which dish I got the pita. My complain is about the quantity. The platters cost anywhere between 17 and 21 dollars. Given the price the quantity was not what I was expecting. Also the dips like tahini sauce or garlic sauce were not free which was kind of wired. They will change you 75 cents for that. The ambiance looked ok to me. There were one one couple eating in the restaurant when I went to order. So not sure if it gets busy during some other time of the day. There were ample parking available. The shop also sells cakes like carrot cake tiramisu and baklava. The service was really good. I ordered upon reaching there. It took them under 15mins to hand over my order“

“Tried falafel and it’s yum. Great quality. Front staff are good. Street paid parking and free parking over weekends. Ambience is okay and well maintained. It would be great if they have more vegetarian options. Will definitely try something new in vegetarian menu if they have any other than Falafel. Kids friendly place. Definitely recommended for Mediterranean food.Vegetarian options: Very limited menu.Parking: Paid Street parking and free on weekends“

Gyro and Middle-eastern food Middle Eastern •

“Pretty solid spot for Middle Eastern food. They offer a fairly good menu for a food truck and the prices are right. They are also quite generous with their portions and sauces. I tried the small gyro dinner and falafel.Well, the small gyro dinner wasn’t small! It was a great meal size. I thought the meat was well cooked and seasoned decently. Good texture as well. They included some salad as well, although it was mostly lettuce, but also had some tomatoes. Nice and fresh. There was also rice served with the meal, and it was buttery. I really loved the tahini sauce they served with the falafel I believe, and I even poured some of it onto the rice for extra nutty flavor. The falafel itself was also pretty good. Decent size, crispy, crunchy. A little too dry for my liking, but great price. Not bad. But, I was very disappointed with the tzatziki sauce. It was oddly acidic and not really creamy. Tasted almost like a canned sauce.Other than that this place is great! Greta prices, portions, and pretty high quality food. I’d love to try more items from here as well.Dietary restrictions: Lots of healthy and Mediterranean diet options“

“Aladdin’s never disappoints! We had a real nice dinner tonight. I had the Aladdin’s platter and my wife had the Gene’s Combo platter. BOTH were delicious! I highly recommend eating here in Mt.Lebanon. I can’t wait to come back again! Leah was our server and she was informative about the menu and attentive. I wish they would open a new Aladdin’s in the West Hills area!“

“Amel's is top of the line Mediterranean cuisine and my favorite go-to for baba gannouj. They have an extensive menu (including American fare) and always have several dinner specials. My favorites: stuffed eggplant, mazze platter, tabbulee, grape leaves and lamb shish kabob. The beet salad is excellent. Their seafood specials are always fresh and delicious! The swordfish kabob is outstanding if it's on special. Entrees include a stellar Amel's salad and warm pita bread. There's a separate bar with patio seating and a small bar in the dining room. Embellishing a great dinner is a warm and colorful ambiance of many hanging lamps, and the romantic mural on the wall will captivate your imagination! I've enjoyed dining here for years, and it offers good service and a moderately priced menu. Amel's is one of the few restaurants where you can enjoy a late dinner or small plates and cocktails. They are open until 11 pm Monday through Saturday. If you are looking for a big hit for a party try the mazza platter. I thoughtful friend added it to my birthday party menu. It contains, the dips, taboulee, artichoke hearts, stuffed grape leaves and pita. It can also be also vegan friendly and gluten-free, and everyone loved it!“
