El Rodeo in Mechanicsburg is an exceptional value and our server was just amazing! Really like the food and prices are pretty reasonable compared to a few years ago. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Used to eat lunch frequently at the Carlisle location but haven't been much during past year. Definitely going back soon.

Still my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. They have so many vegetarian options the the other places don't offer. They also will happily customize their dinners for you.
Kid-friendliness: Fun colorful atmosphere for kids. Sometimes they mariachi which is fun too!

I ordered the beef taquitos, and they were so overcooked. The beef inside was dry, hard, and crunchy. I barely finished one. Couldn't eat the other two. The beans and chips were good. First time I had a "bad" experience at an El Rodeo. Service was good.
