I’ve been enjoying the croquet chocolates for over 70 years. Yes, that’s not a typo. I remember those as a child when my aunt would gift use that candy. Then I discovered them in Indiana PA where the owner obtained the recipe. I was beyond ecstatic when I saw that Macris had them. The owner told me that her grandfather owned Philadelphia Candy Co. in Sharon PA. My husband gave me two pre-bagged croquettes. The must have been bagged up weeks ago. I could hardly bite into them. My advice is to only buy the fresh made candy and not the pre-bagged. I will see if they will made it right.
