“We got seated in what they call the outside. It's not an uncovered outside area and they keep it pretty warm. Normally someone performs music in this spot, so it's where you want to be if you want entertainment.It actually was comfortable and the food was delicious. We had an excellent server that was friendly and funny.The atmosphere is your normal bar scene with lots of noise, but that's normal. If anything, I was expecting it to be louder.I enjoyed my time with my wife and her friend.“
“Tldr: I would come again I came on a karaoke night on a Thursday. The food itself was pretty great. HUGE portion on the Poultrygeist and would definitely recommend the beer cheese. Songs were a mix of mostly rock/hard rock, country, and other genres. Very unique atmosphere and amazing service. Close on the rating but I would give a 5/5 for great food, amazing service, and a unique dive bar atmosphere.“
“Had a great brunch here with my mom! I got the eggs Benedict and mom got the veggie skillet. Both were delicious! For drinks I got the espresso martini, which was good, but our fav was the Lusca. It had a nice kick to it! Highly recommend! Will def be coming back with hubby.“
“This place is awesome. They have a little bit of everything. Great food, pool tables, live DJ, comedy nights, and nightly specials. Natalie and Allison really take care of their customers and provide top notch service. Definitely recommend getting a drink from them at the bar. Always a great time and good crowd every time I go. “Great little "hole in the wall" pub. Absolutely AMAZING roast beef au ju. Tender and juicy, nice crusty sub roll with your favorite cheese. I add horseradish or the horseradish "Tiger" sauce. Been to the Grotto several times, and honestly haven't ordered anything else because the roast beef is just that good! Great and friendly service too. Go to the Grotto Pub, get the roast beef, have a Guinness to go with it, you will not be disappointed, guaranteed!“
“Good taproom for the brewery, really close to train station. Good choices, good conversation and remember to try Green Machine if IPA fan, Tried and True of wheat beer fan or MOY Bien for an interesting IPA.Also see if you can try their Belgian lager or stout.“
“I totally love the atmosphere of Shady's it is amazing like an old-school bar. The bartender is amazing and he is very accepting of me since I'm a transgender woman. They have an amazing beer selection. It is like a cool neighborhood bar in Harrisburg. I have gone there a few times now and had a great experience every time. You don't know my name yet but that's fine by me. So go to Shady McGrady's it's an amazing place to go.“
“Everything was delicious, but the tomato soup seemed more like sauce. They really push the soup, which is a shame cuz I thought I would have been better. But the grilled cheese, the Mac and cheese, and the pretzel were amazing. I will be back again.“

On the dark lighting but cool. Some of the locals seemed confrontationale with themselves but nothing escalated. I totally so come here!!!“
“Had amazing time every time I visited this place, especially for Halloween we tried a new drink which was awesome the atmosphere and the drinks are a good vibe.I definitely enjoyed how nice the people are that work there. “Cozy smaller place with typical pub food. Plenty of booths for private dining. Being a person always looking for brewing specialities, I was disappointed but there's always at least one or two local favorites. Kudos to our server Bob. He was attentive and efficient to our needs. Also, he had a cool server book with a unique emblem of a skull and bones!Parking: Might be tight for wheel chair access.“
