Jacks Mountain Freeze was a nice refreshing stop after a hike. Jacks is right on the side of the road heading north. I pulled into the parking lot and it was almost full on a hot Saturday afternoon. There was a line that took about five minutes until I ordered, which was perfect because it gave me enough time to look over the menu and decide on what I was going to order. Overall our experience was great! Ice cream and milkshakes are delicious! We will be returning in the future to test out more of the menu! Not sure of the name of the little, yet big, fella but there seems to be a VERY friendly cat that roams to greet the guests!

First time and won't be the last! Great food and great ice cream and the staff was amazingly friendly. Generous portions! This place is a hidden gem but worth going out of your way to get to for a food fix!
