“I've eaten here twice, gotten different things and been disappointed in the food. However, I give them 4 stars because the horchata is phenomenal and the flan is authentic. I will literally go back for those 2 reasons, so might as well keep trying the food until I find something I like.“

“Small dining area in back of this bodega in a strip mall. Really enjoyed the massive special burrito (pineapple marinated pork-wow!) with rice and refried beans on the side. “Came back 25 years later, granted back then it was a tiny Mexican restaurant, but still great food and service!
25 years ago my husband brought me to this location (tiny very authentic back then) restaurant for one of our 1st dates.
That was the very first times I had ever had guacamole! Big fan ever since!
Today we visited with our service dog in tow, and they were extremely accommodating and immediately brought him a foil bowl and 2 servings of fresh cold ice water. Thanks!
We visited on a Friday at 4:30 and enjoyed $5 margaritas on happy hour and free chips/salsa.
For dinner we selected the slow cooked beef tacos and they were delicious.
Service was excellent and server was efficient and polite.
Lots of free parking and clean bathrooms.
Small bar area and very large indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Patio is a well behaved and service dog friendly.
Highly recommended.“

“Stopped for a quick snack. Crunchy tacos are my go-to for a short visit.
Great fresh shells, veggies and cheese. Meat was hot and fresh. This is a good place to stop for a snack or a meal.
Parking: Easy to find a spot. Nice big parking lot. Easy in and out with great access to drive thru.
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking spots available and easy door access.“

“Came in last night with a friend (first time seeing him in a few months), and right away the vibe was good — place was actually packed, which is always a good sign. Energy felt solid and the staff seemed to get along, which matters more than people think.
Service on the line was fast and smooth. The woman who started my bowl was super kind and actually noticed I got a light scoop of rice at first — she offered to add more without me even asking. That goes a long way as a customer, especially when you’re paying real money for these bowls now. Shoutout to her for that.
Staff was attentive overall: asked about drinks, reminded me to use my Chipotle rewards (huge plus — I would’ve forgotten), and kept things moving. Portions were solid, and everything after that first small hiccup went smoothly. Only thing on me is I should’ve spoken up about wanting double chicken — that’s not on them.
Food was good, environment was great, and the team had good chemistry.
Only reason this isn’t 5 stars: cleanliness. Our table had leftover rice, lettuce, and cheese on it, and the condiment/soda/utensil area was a bit messy. Not disgusting, but noticeable.
All in all — great staff, quick service, good energy. Clean up the dining area a little more consistently and this is easily a 5-star spot.“

“My flight was delayed and this was one of the only places open for dinner. Turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Great people working here, super friendly and the food was exactly as ordered. They were patient with my questions and made it a great experience, even just going through the drive thru.“
