I was happy to see a sign for vegetarian Indian food along the highway and decided to chance it. This is a truck stop only feet away from the exit, with a small Indian takeout attached. The food was significantly better than expected and exactly what we wanted during a very long drive on I-80. Get the thali.
This is a cute cozy place very close to i80, we were returning from NYC to OH and thought we'd take a quick lunch pitstop here and wasn't sorry one bit! We came exactly at opening time so ofcourse the e service was slightly slower but when the food is freshly made to order I have nothing to complain and the taste more than made up for the 10-15min wait. Never expected a Indian Restaurant in a gas station, but was very delighted to see one on our way from Cleveland to New York. Place is very well maintained, they have a decent spread and staff were very friendly. Ordered a thali, samosa chaat and chai. Rotis were very soft and food was delicious. Felt like you were eating at home. Definitely recommend this place.
