Always thought this place was mediocre, but the last 2 pizzas this summer were awesome! Not sure if it's a new pizza person, new owners, or new recipe l, but they definitely changed something for the better! Pricing is a bit high but definitely worth it in Milford. Thanks for the solid pizza!

During a recent visit to John’s of Arthur Ave. in Milford, PA, my family and I enjoyed a truly memorable meal rooted in authentic Bronx-style Italian cooking. The welcoming atmosphere made it an ideal place for a relaxed family outing, and the food lived up to its reputation.
We started with the Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce, which was a hit—simple, fresh, and classic. The pasta was perfectly cooked and generously coated in a house-made tomato sauce, sprinkled with just the right amount of cheese and herbs.
One of the highlights was the Eggplant Parm Hero. It came out hot and hearty, with thick-cut eggplant fried to perfection, layered with rich marinara and creamy mozzarella on a fresh Italian roll. A must-try, especially if you love traditional Italian sandwiches.
To finish, we shared a Cannoli for dessert. It was everything a good cannoli should be—crispy shell, sweet ricotta filling, chocolate chips, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Light yet satisfying.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous enough to please everyone at the table. From the warm hospitality to the quality of the dishes, John’s of Arthur Ave gave my family a dining experience we won’t soon forget.
If you're looking for authentic Italian food in a family-friendly setting, John’s of Arthur Ave is a gem. Great for locals, travelers, and anyone craving real-deal Italian flavors.

I’ve tried all the other Pizza/ Italian spots in Milford and haven’t been in a few years and noticed this place opened. Great spot. Had their Detroit style pizza. I was expecting the dough to be thick but wow it was airy and crispy, it was very good. Got my Dad a Grandma slice and he said it was very delicious as well. Tried their garlic knots, also was expecting the dough to be dense but it was light and chewy and there was good garlic and parm flavor in every bite. We sat outside on the patio, seats are very comfy and there’s shade so you aren’t burning up in the sun.

Johns of Arthur Ave. went absolutely above and beyond for my family. After the recent passing of my Grandfather, we bought a bunch of pizzas for the family while we prepared his arrangements. John’s staff personally made extra cannolis and prepared the food with love for all of us. They even went out of their way to deliver them! They really care about their community, and it is evident! A huge thank you to all of the staff for helping us through this very tough time!

I love this place, easily the best pizza place around. I used to come here weekly for the cheaper slices before closing, and still ordered frequently during the week too but unfortunately they told me today they don’t do it anymore and I’m heartbroken:(

Finally, a place that feels like I'm having BX pizza. They do seem to be understaffed. Maybe calling ahead of time before stopping by! Tuesday afternoon seemed super crowded, and I waited about 45min for my order. Other than this, the staff is friendly, and they seem to try very hard to get everyone's food out. Check them out and try the Graffity pizza.

Great people. Great service. And of course, great pizza!
Popped in for a slice and garlic knots. Delicious pizza dough. Great sauce. A little heavy with the ricotta, I prefer less ricotta on my slices.
Friendly and great service! Overall, great experience!
