“I think I found my new favorite tea! Thai tea is simply amazing! I’ve made several variations of iced Thai tea- ‘plain’, slightly sweetened, and sweetened plus milk. All have been simply delicious! I was hesitant when Danielle suggested it to me. But so glad I took her expert advice and tried it! Thanks for opening my eyes to something new!!!“

“Visited the Monaca location and was very impressed. Though they have a smaller variety in store than their Pittsburgh I felt there was plenty of variety to explore and try. The staff was attentive and listened to help me pick out 3 teas to try based on my ideal flavor profile then ensured I knew how to prepare each. An absolutely amazing experience!“

“A friend recommended your store and said it was the best tea in the city. I was downtown Sunday and stopped by planning to pick up tea for myself and my mom. The women working were absolutely wonderful! They gave me a lot of suggestions based on what kind of teas I liked. I bought five overall and have tried 4/5. My friend did not lie, this is truly the best tea I have ever had. My mom will not be getting any of this haha so I’ll be taking a trip back to the city to come get tea for my mom. Wonderful spot, delicious teas, and totally worth the trip. 10/10!“

Flavor varies depending on the season. • Often have other small vegan snacks like a basic chia pudding and protein bars for sale. • The default milk in their drinks is vegan (yay!) and changes based on the flavor profile of the drink Of course you can always ask for a different milk. • Has a core drink menu which consists of matcha blended with other teas or herbs plus a rotating seasonal menu (ex. strawberry matcha for summer, chai matcha for fall, cocoa mint matcha for winter, sakura rose matcha for spring). Summer and spring flavors are personally my favorite!“

“There are a wide variety of hot and cold beverages including tea, coffee and Lemonade. Teas include black (8 optons), green (8 options) and herbal (23 options).
They have a very small menu of food provided in partnership with local vendors.

The decorations are very eclectic. My friend said they went to a garage sale and said, we'll take everything.

You do get a hippie, grunge, eco-concious vibe in the place. If you are left of center politically you will find a home here. As a conservative just don't announce yourself.

While we were there, we had a group playing Magic Cards, an artist doing an oil painting with a full set up, and a writing club workshopping ideas. There were four guys watching the world cup, with their leader explaining the game to the other three who were clearly not regular fans. He also pontificating on the John McCain run for President against Obama, including a tirade against Sarah Palin.

It was a lot.

We played some cards (the deck was a Woman Heros) and a few board games (they have a whole shelf of them). While drinking our tea. We chose a hot and cold Chai tea along with a plate of spanikopeta (Way overcooked, Greeks would have been sad)

“I always wanted to try high tea and this place was excellent. The staff was excellent as well as the food. The tea was really good and I tried new ones which I would not normally do. I definitely will go again.“

“Great setting, solid menu, staff are friendly and seem relatively knowledgeable. My only qualm is that I came to hopefully sample some flavors I've been looking at, but their flavors are somewhat limited. I say somewhat because they have an extensive range of Al Fakher, and a handful of Starbuzz and Adalya, so they're not exactly lacking in options, and the flavors they do have are widely held in high regard. That said, they only have blondes, so if you're looking for a deeper buzz, or to try something richer like Tangiers or Must Have, you'll have to look elsewhere.

In summation, I'll keep looking at others, but this one's not bad, worth checking out if you're a beginner or just looking for a generally chill experience“
