veryyy disappointed seen this place on doordash never heard of it food looked amazing so i ordered i got the 2 piece chicken meal with 2 sides a sprite and also 2 desserts my sides we’re sweet potatoe fries green beans and then i added mac n cheese got a call saying they did not have any green beans so that’s fine no big deal but then i get a trxts from the door dash lady saying did they tell you they don’t have dessert which no they didn’t but anyways i get my food chicken is not good barely any taste my fries were so soggy and last i was so excited about the mac and cheeese they even gave me extra but that was absolutely horrible idk if the put cinnamon or sugar in it but the mac and cheese was so sweet it was ridiculous now i’m not here to judge but i am extremely upset about paying 60 dollars for this order and now i have to go thru doordash to try and get my money back for the food that i didn’t get which if they didn’t have the stuff it shouldn’t have been on the menu just very upset about the taste of the food and all the money i wasted that i will not be getting back

Do not go under any circumstances! My wife and i went for breakfast because we saw the $4.95 sign. There was no breakfast for that price. My omelet was raw in the middle and hash browns tasted like meat- so the grill had not been cleaned since.....?
Too bad i can not give this place 0 stars.

Not worth trying.

Exceptional and Excellent.I stopped eating BBQ as I lived in othet places of the country where it was not readily available and not really what I would call "good". This was before I moved to Western PA for work.I was new to town and figured I would give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, savoriness, and price of the food here.It was really nice. I would strongly recommend folks coming in to grab a bite to eat.It certainly sets my bar high for trying BBQ throughout Western Pennsylvania. Awesome job.I hope the owners and workers realize just how good the quality of their food is. There are days when working a hot grill or pit are quite grueling.Thank you for taking the time and investing your time to make this delicious food. I cannot state just how much of a positive affect your food had on me.It was a great way to start my time in PA.

Very good BBQ at a reasonable price. Brisket was very tender with a good smoked flavor. Pulled pork had a nice spicy taste. The red beans and rice are excellent and the mac and cheese was very creamy. We will definitely return at some point. Everyone should go at least once. We need to try to keep businesses like this around.

I stopped to get my boyfriend and I dinner on a Saturday evening, and the whole experience was fantastic! Not only is Jerry an enthusiastic owner, but he is also very accommodating to any food allergy issues. I am allergic to dairy, and he immediately recommended what I could have, which is a lot compared to other places! Their brisket, 1/2 chicken, and crispy coleslaw are amazing! And my boyfriend really enjoyed the red beans and rice. We will definitely be going back!!

First time visiting this restaurant. The food was delicious! I had the three meat combo (fish, pulled pork, brisket, red beans & rice And Mac) the meat was juicy & flavorful and the side also packed a lot of flavor. Unfortunately the wait time and staff really ruined our experience. When we arrived we asked if we were allowed to dine in or if it was take out only (all the tables except one had the chairs flipped upside down on the table tops. After asking, two staff members looked at each other unsure how to answer and one of them replied that we can indeed dine in. At that time we chose not to sit at the one available table as it was dirty and the staff watched myself and my fiancé take the chairs down from the table next to it so we had a clean place to sit.) After ordering it took about 40 minutes for us to receive our food. During our wait the phone rang a few times for door dash orders (I know this because the two staff members decided it was a good idea to complain about having to fill the orders In front of us). Soon after our food was brought to us the staff disappeared to the back, there was no one to refill our drinks and we waited a good 15 minutes after we were done before seeing someone so we could pay our bill. It is truly unfortunate for this business to deliver a great food Product but not have the waitstaff it really needs to make this place shine.

the chicken was for sure not fully cooked and same with the french fries.. now my stomach is upset and i keep waking up with my stomach hurting, almost ready to throw up. the fries were so soggy and slimy and the chicken was still pink & was so stringy and still had that plastic texture. like i said, now my stomach is super upset and i’m praying i don’t have salmonella poisoning.. 2 stars for the server and the owners boyfriends daughter because they were so so nice and nice people deserve the best! also, when I came in for door dash, everything was a mess and mess up people’s orders constantly.

DELICIOUS FOOD!!!!! you cannot go wrong eating here. The flavors they create are wonderful. So comforting. They got 4 stars because they are not very timely. Sometime to-go orders take a little longer then they should. Easily fixable. I would recommend this place!!

The food is OUTSTANDING! The Red Beans and Rice were the best I ever had. Their pulled pork was delicious (as was everything we had).

I stopped in today for take out for my son and I. We were kind of having a rough day because I woke up to water in my kitchen because the piece that connects my portable dish washer to our sink broke loose in the middle of the night and he was home sick, while my husband is on the other side of the world for work. I ordered the three rib sampler for my son and a number one combo with smoked chicken for myself. My son inhaled his ribs and Mac n cheese in about 10 seconds and declared it the best meal he's ever eaten. My chicken was excellent, and the cornbread was almost like cake and didn't need butter, honey or jam. Even better than the food was the customer service. When I mentioned my whole kitchen fiasco, Jerry grabbed three of his healthy meal plan meals out the fridge and bagged them up for me which was very unexpected, very kind and very appreciated! I am so glad to have Jerry and his business in our community and I cannot wait to stop in again and I will be telling everyone I know to also stop by ?

Poor service. The sides on the kid's menu were not appropriate for a 5 year old. Asked if we could substitute plain french fries for the offered kid's sides. Told yes. When the bill comes, we are charged extra for the fries. When brought to the attention of the waitress, she acts confused, like she never agreed to the substitution. Finally she agrees to adjust the bill and remove the fries. When she comes back, the bill goes up even higher, rather than going down. Will never go back.***REPLY*** Your dining room was indeed open on the day that I visited. Do you think I am just making this up? If you really think that your place is that wonderful, you need to get your rear end out in the dining room and see what actually takes place.***REPLY*** Thank you for the offer, but I will pass. That waitress had us so irritated that all we wanted to do is get out of your place as fast as possible. Had it been a very high amount of money, yes, I would have asked for management. But sometime you just need to accept your loss and run. It all worked out in the end for me. I always leave a $10 tip when I go out to eat. I withheld the tip for lousy service and being ripped off by the waitress and recouped my loss.

This was our first time ordering, it took over an hour for our food to be ready. My peach cobbler is frozen and tastes like it sat in the fridge for days beforehand. Potato salad is awful, mac-n- cheese is curdled and overcooked, the paper from the cheese was left on my sandwich and I asked for sauce on the side, that didnt happen. Half a chicken isnt even a full breast and a wing so scrawny there is no meat. Not only am I dissatisfied, I will never order from here again. I will also suggest something else if asked about the food.Edit: Almost forgot the bun to my brisket sandwich was as hard as a rock. It made a clanking noise when I tapped it on my table. Disgusted!!

NEVER AGAIN! Wish I could rate less than one star.This place was a HUGE disappointment. My friends and I ended up here since the place we were originally going to was so packed. When we arrived it wasn't busy I'd estimate at least 75% of the tables were empty.The beverages were lacking they only had cans of Dr. Pepper, A&W root beer, orange and ginger ale. No diet anything ended up with tap  water. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our drinks and it was over an hour to get our food. While we are waiting I hear shouting from the kitchen something about teamwork.  The server gave my friends a hard time about wanting a cup for their drinks. When we finally get our food and shortly after that a couple leaves because they said they had been waiting 1.5 hours. I don't  blame them I would have left also. That's when the owner appeared and stated he was out on a catering job. To say this restraunt was operating in state of  disarray would be an understatement.The food was nothing special and certainly not worth the wait. the portions were small and I left hungry.  The shot glass worth of Coleslaw and small pulled pork sandwich I had was meh at best.And for all this trouble they took 90 cents off the bill.NEVER AGAIN!DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!
