I waited for my take out and they treated me like I was a regular. The mini cornbread was ridiculously good. I could eat a dozen and not blink an eye. I will definitely be back.“

We ordered fried chicken wings, catfish, salisbury steak, mash potatoes, greens, Hoppin’ John, macaroni and cheese, potato salad and ribs. We were pleased with everything, each item had its distinctive flavor, everything was well seasoned and prices were reasonable. This place deserves a visit!! To enter the restaurant, walk into the apartment building and follow down the stairs into the banquet room.Parking: There is no lot but there are plenty of places within walking distance where you can find free parking. No one is going to ticket you if you want to use a lot immediately in the area for take out.“

“The guys were so friendly and professional. My food didn’t take long. I just saw that they were open and decided to give it a try.I had the shrimp n grits and it was FIRE!!!!!! The potatoes looked a bit on the dark side but they were not burnt and tasted good. It wasn’t overly seasoned. My grits tho! They were creamy with a sweet taste. I wished they served breakfast more than just a day or so out of the week ?. I tried to come back the next morning lol. Please give this place a try. I’m a fan ❤️“

“YMH feels like home when you walk through the door. Always greeting by the owners upon arrival. My family’s favorite BBQ restaurant. Check out their food; you’re getting your moneys worth! I’ve inserted a picture of their rib dinner with 3 sides and cornbread. The meal comes with 2 sides, but their food is so good that I get extra. There’s genuine love in this restaurant while they’re preparing your food. Also, if you ever have an issue with your food, they are open minded and handle constructive criticism in a very professional manner. It’s a must try!Parking: Always easy to find a parking spot here.Kid-friendliness: They love the kids. This restaurant is clean, organized and safe. I’m always confident bringing my kid here to grab something to eat.“

“I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our dinner. Cuddy's Soul Food is located inside of Lawrence Food Hall and if you want more information about that you can check out my review for them. From Cuddy's soul food I ordered a pork soul roll and a steak and cheese soul roll. I started out with the smaller of the two which ended up being the pork roll. It was a bit on the greasy side but the flavor was good. It was very porky and I appreciated the collard greens which cut through the pork and then the sweet potatoes which added a bit of sweetness. Then the steak and cheese roll is what you would expect. Lots of steak and cheese with a hint of peppers which made it a very tasty roll. Then I would I be remiss to not mention the sauce which was sweet and spicy and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed dipping both rolls into it and imagine I would like it on just about anything. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I thought that both of my rolls here were good, albeit greasy, and I would be interested in trying some of their ribs in the future.“
