The restaurant (bar side) was nearly empty at noon on a Monday but service was a bit slow anyway. However the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is pretty inside for being an old tavern. The crowd that started filling in later seemed to be very familiar with each other; it was a cool vibe to witness

The place looks a bit run down (peeling paint, bathroom door wouldn't close, etc). I had lunch with 2 other friends. My friend and I both ordered the French Onion cheese steak. She got fries for an upcharge and I just had the chips. My other friend got the regular cheesestake with fries for an upcharge. I also had the downeast black berry cider. We all enjoyed our food. My bill was $23.58 with tax for cash, for credit it wouldn't been $24.52. our server was accommodating and friendly.

Great local spot for some drinks and some pool shooting. Staff makes you feel very welcomed and at home!
