Update to initial review. Although the upfront cost seemed to be a lot, we ended up eating the leftovers over a 2-3 day period. The Detroit style pizza was even better the following day. It’s unbelievable how filing this pizza is.
I also appreciate the owners response and look forward to trying again. A friend of mine explained some of the issues I had were from slices platform just an fyi.

American Dough Company in Morton, PA, proved to be a mixed experience for me. The online ordering process was frustrating, requiring multiple attempts and eventually leading me to order through a different site. Additionally, I found it odd that soda was not available for online ordering, though I am unsure if it is offered in-store.

I tried "The Franklin Pizza," a large pie topped with cupped pepperoni, red sauce, brick cheese, parm cheese, and a drizzle of spicy honey. While the pizza had the perfect Detroit-style crisp on the edges, I felt that the honey was missing. The sauce was delicious, striking a balance between sweet and tangy, with a perfect cheese-to-sauce ratio. I would rate this pizza a 4/5.

On the other hand, my order of a small white pizza with tomato and broccoli in Detroit style arrived as a round pizza, disappointing my desire to try the Detroit style. This pizza was just okay for me, earning a rating of 2/5.

The Cheese Steak, resembling a Stromboli, was intriguing and tasty but a bit dry. It could have benefited from some sauce or ketchup. Despite this, I would be willing to give it another try, still unsure about the pricing as the menu states “cheesesteak” one should expect cheese yet they charged for cheese it’s very strange not sure if it’s a glitch. rating it a 3/5.

The delivery driver was friendly and arrived punctually. However, I was taken aback by the pricing, feeling that the quality did not quite match the cost. Additionally, the presence of a servicing and delivery fee with unclear details on its purpose left me with some reservations.

Overall, my experience at American Dough Company was a mix of positives and negatives, and I probably would not try again.

Pizza tasted really good, the dough was a little tough and chewy.
Service was awesome.
Onion rings were mediocre at best, cooked well but was hoping for homemade or beer batter onion rings.
