Don’t go here for food. Do you know how when you microwave something with breading on it the bottom gets soggy? I got the boneless wings and I am 99% confident they microwaved to shit. Soggy, freezeburnt, not crisp even in the slightest, and the garlic sauce itself was not something to write home about. Given the cool vibe of the restaurant and the fact that it’s a bar/meadhouse I had much higher expectations. Would go back for drinks, but paying for the food was a massive waste.

I've been eyeing this place for a long time and finally tonight went for dinner. Food was very disappointing. Portions were small and skimpy, somewhat unimaginative, generic and definitely disappointing I won't be going back.

This place is awesome! Friendly and attentive service, cozy environment, and live music! Cheese and meat board is fantastic and chicken wings and other appetizers we got were all super fresh/ high-quality ingredients and affordably priced. Definitely will be going back!

I planned a surprise birthday celebration at KingView Meadhouse and could not be happier with how the entire event turned out! Thanks you to Joe and Joe who helped make our evening so special with their great food, drinks and the service they provided. We held our party outside on the patio and were afforded flexibility and assistance at every turn. I would highly reccomend this establishment to anyone wanting a clean, attractive and fun environment for a special event, trivia night or just a nice meal and delicious mead! Thanks again to all the staff who made the night special!

We held our parents 40th wedding anniversary surprise party here and can’t say enough good things! From the start of planning, Joe was very responsive and helpful. On the day of—he went above and beyond to assist with configuring the space, assisting with set up & providing wonderful customer service! All of our guests were pleased & very happy with the event! The mead is delicious-try the blood honey mead! (Can’t comment on the food as we had outside catering) We will definitely be back!

It's all Sysco food reheated and/or put on a plate. The only redeeming attribute is they sell canned beer. The draft beer has been sitting in the line for days, if not weeks, because nobody goes here. The inside smells like rotten cabbage. How this place has 4.6 star reviews is suspect.

Great mead and cider. Huge selection to appease all in your group. Food was delicious as well. Easy parkin, right in front and dog friendly. Only recommendation would be to add fans to the back patio. Had a great time, will be coming back.

Looking for a one-of-a-kind spot to grab drinks, relax, and soak in some serious medieval vibes, KingView Meadhouse & Winery is a must-visit! With locations in Lake Erie, The Tanger Outlets (Washington, PA), and their absolutely adorable meadhouse in Mt. Lebanon, this place has quickly become a must visit!
I had the chance to visit the Mt. Lebanon location — the medieval-style mead hall — and was completely blown away! From the decor to the menu, the theme is carried throughout in the best way. Think rustic wood, cozy vibes, and a menu that sounds like it was written by Viking foodies.
Drinks:
The rotating selection of meads, wines, ciders, and beers (including local PA brews) is impressive. I tried a mead flight — which was perfect as someone still learning about different mead types and flavors. Every sample was unique and delicious!
Food:
The Nordic Board (charcuterie) was a standout starter — with a great mix of cured meats, cheeses, nuts, fresh and dried fruits. Under “Voyage Companions” (aka shareables), we went with the Dip Trio — buffalo chicken, spinach & artichoke, and the warm “Honey Pot” (marinara, ricotta, honey). All served with pita, veggies, and chips — so satisfying.
Flatbreads:
We tried two —
The Gatherer: mozzarella, tomato, mushroom, spinach, roasted red pepper, and red onion.
Hela’s White: garlic chive butter, mozzarella, spinach, prosciutto, and Parmesan.
Both were absolutely delicious and perfectly baked!
Atmosphere & Events:
The meadhouse offers both indoor and outdoor seating, happy hour specials, live music, and trivia nights. It’s cozy, welcoming, and great for a casual date night, hangout with friends, or something new to try in the South Hills area.
Highly recommend checking it out!

What a great little spot, great beer, good food, staff is awesome. Why is it always so dead, even on a beautiful Sat? Locals don’t even know it’s here. Maybe a sign or some marketing.

Service was exceptional. This was our first time at this business and we were so pleased with the food, mead, and wine. I wish I got a photo of the s’mores cheesecake that was served encased with smoke from wood chips so there was a distinct campfire taste, too. Got six bottles to go. Will be back! Thank you Kingview!

We had my daughter's Gender Reveal party here and everything was wonderful! The event space was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was top notch. Joe made sure everyone was taken care of and our guests even commented on how nice everything was. 10/10 would recommend.

The best charcuterie boards!! Food is very good. Known for their mead but variety of drinks (support PA spirits), just ask.
