“We live right here in Mountain Home. So ths is not a “weekender” sending in a review. If it wasn’t the BEST place ever, tje locals would never go back. Aside from that, they make the absolutely most wonderful sandwiches and Rays homemade soups are fantastic. Also aside, the folks that work there go above and beyond to help you with your order. Friendly , cheerful, it’s the place you go when you need a lift, coffee or smile wise. Spend a little time there, if you want “in and out” in 10 minutes, to go a fast food place on the highway. Those of us here in town love the atmosphere and the friendship. Weekend welcome, too.“
“If the amount of time we spent here is any indication... we loved it! We spent 2 hours exploring the menu and enjoying our couples' time together. The place is very cozy and intimate. They have a retro, warm, inviting decor with a notable single tapered candle surrounded by a glass chimney on the counter. The kitchen is very small but packed with some fun, top-level, modern equipment. We started with a sage tea, a very berry smoothie, lox, and a ham and cheese croissant sandwich with a side salad. Later, we tried a matcha affigato, blueberry muffin, and a vanilla latte to conclude our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return! There is a spa and inn attached, which we hope to check out in the future! There are about 6 tables outdoors over two separate areas, which would be fun to relax at when the weather is warmer. They were very friendly and welcoming during our extended stay.“
“Unfortunately due to random bad luck the room we booked was flooded the day we were to arrive. Carolyn is a true blessing and not only provided us with new accommodations elsewhere, she made sure we wouldn't be charged more, that we still had all the amenities of the Mountaintop Lodge, and most importantly that the new place was wheelchair friendly for me! She went above and beyond.The breakfast each morning was delicious, there is nothing else to say about it. We tried a variety of things and it was all extremely yummy!Donna was also extremely wonderful. The third day of our stay she had a birthday card on the table for me with the sweetest message and set our table up so we could eat with a gorgeous view of the trees! Truth be told, every lady working there was delightful, I just didn't catch anyone's names other than Donna and Carolyn!Lastly, the decor, scenery, and location were wonderful. The whole place was so rustic and cozy. It felt like a place where things were a little slower, a little more simple, and a lot less hectic. The perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee. Before we left we got to peek at one of the rooms that was similar but a little smaller than the room we were supposed to have and all I can say is that we can't wait to come back and actually stay!“

“By far the best Starbucks ever! I legit order the same drink every single morning and it’s prob annoying cuz I get extra extra Carmel oat milk and change the whole drink around then I get a special one for my 3 year old they never complain they are super nice they never mess it up or get mad for asking for extra Carmel like other stores have done they are super fast service clean organized and great customer service even my 3 year old makes sure we go to that store always ! “Just for clarity, there must be more than one location, we visited the location in the shopping outlets at Sullivan Trail, Tannersville. The food was awesome. I had a roast beef dip, my wife had a chicken bacon ranch flatbread. Both were perfectly done. Staff was very friendly, but service and food were very slow and with only two other tables, and three people serving we weren't sure why that was the case. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star rating. We still would not hesitate going back. Prices are what you'd expect for this type of food.“

They do have an atm.Stopped in for some breakfast sandwiches this morning--I have to say, we've been coming to the area for years and I'm pretty mad I just came in here for the first time.Gave me some ny deli vibes without the hustle-bustle, brusqueness, and city prices. Also, there's some really nice seating, self-serve coffee, the ability to buy and grind coffee beans, fresh pastries, etc. Essentially a classic deli/coffee shop, but done to perfection. Everyone I interacted with was very kind, and the food was superb (and really cheap for the quality). I'll be back!Also a note--I saw one of the more heartwarming interactions between a staff member and regular that I've ever seen. A regular came in who I gathered was going through a rough patch, and he was offered a hug, which he accepted. I tell this story because it's apparent that this is a place run by good people that care about the community. They deserve your patronage.“
