“Food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The coconut mojito was to die for. Service was great. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating. The owner made it a point to stop and talk to us and wish me a happy birthday. I definitely will be going back.“

“Authentic Mexican food — SO fresh! The salsa is amazing and there is a big variety of tacos prepared with traditional Mexican ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had several questions about some items on the menu I was unfamiliar with- I learned a lot! Portion sizes are very generous -including the $7 Happy Hour Margaritas, which are made with fresh squeezed lime juice. No mixers here! My husband’s comment when we first tasted our food: “they definitely don’t take short cuts here”. This is a great addition to downtown WB - can’t wait to go back!“

“Went to Wilkes barre for a concert and was craving Mexican food. The location looks a little suspect coming from the outside, but going in everyone was friendly. Super authentic Mexican food, friendly staff, extensive menu and everything was delicious. Salsas were all very good, which is awesome considering you get free chips while waiting for your meal! If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be back.“

“Never dissapoints. I recently moved back to the area from Texas where Mexican food reigns supreme... it's hard to beat the quality and authenticity. This is only Mexican that goes toe to toe. Always fresh delicious and a great atmosphere. P.S. The margaritas are bomb!“

“I was amazed at how nice the people were. The food was so amazing it felt like the flavors were danceing on my tounge. There red sauce was really spicy it made my nose run. May I add the decorations in the are so cool. It was an overal 5 star place to go. I have nothing bad to say.Vegetarian options: There was a vegitarian fajita if I recal correctly on menu.Dietary restrictions: The made sure not to put any onions in my dads food even though he isn't allergic he just doesn't like them, and there was no onions found anywhere.“

“I had their round pie with onions, the taste of this pizza took me back to the 80's when pizza was made by hand and not machines. It was a 6 cut pie, came out nice and hot. My appetizer was an order of 4 meatballs in a marinara sauce, they had a nice taste to it. When I was walking in I was treated in a welcoming manner. But my strawberry cake was delicious. This place has a little bit of everything. Pizza, Mexican food, and in-between. Check them out, if you don't drive I saw signs for door dash. So there's no reason anyone in the Wilkes-Barre/ Kingston Area cannot get to this place. Tell them you saw this review. Until next time. Be blessed and stay safe.“

“Simply Fantastic! The food, presentation and service were all excellent. Loved our hostess! The food is authentic, fresh, and we tried a new item called Sopes. It was delicious and I highly recommend. There were a couple of other new ones too. They are more than happy to accommodate requests for making the dishes vegetarian. Gem of a place!“

“Beautiful restaurant with amazing food! I love eating here. It reminds me of my home state because effort was put into the decor. It feels like you left the cold PA weather for a brighter happier place. I am slowly working my way through the menu. My hubby is sticking with his fave (skirt steak) in which I steal a little each time. Friendly atmosphere as well.“

“I got food from here delivered off of Uber eats and I am so pleased with my order! The esquite was good and the birria tacos might be the best I’ve had so far. The only thing I would say though is that I wish the chicken in the flautas were a little more seasoned, otherwise everything was delicious!“

“I just moved down here from florida and this place is delicioso! Server is wonderful both of them are ! Food is fast and hot ! Guacamole and chips are amazing, and the ceviche tostadas are to die for 10/10 will come here allot ! And food is not pricey at all ..love it“
“Great food delivered quickly. They usually have great food and drink specials with reasonable prices. The only negative is that they keep using a dining room door to take out food for pickup orders and if you're sitting near the door, you freeze! They need to use the front door .“

“I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem in Wilkes Barre that has forever changed my perception of Latin cuisine - a little cart that serves up the most mouthwatering arepas (not on the menu - $8 and it takes 8 minutes to make) and a wide array of Mexican delights. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew it was authentic. 99% of the customers are Hispanic, and you can also bring your beer and sip it while enjoying the food. They take credit card payments, and you can pay via apple pay, etc. This truck might not catch your eye at first glance, but believe me, it's a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered. These golden, crispy corn arepa pockets are filled with a variety of delectable ingredients that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Order only one because it's filing. The hot sauces that accompany the arepas are okay. Perhaps skip them. We had chicken arepas. They recently raised the price from $6 to $8 per arepa, and my Latin friends were not happy with the price increase but it does take 8 minutes to make them. Their menu features an extensive selection of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas (enough for two meals at $13 per quesadilla), all made with the freshest ingredients. Whether you opt for the succulent carne asada, the zesty al pastor, or the flavorful vegetarian options, you'll be treated to an explosion of flavors that will transport you straight to the streets of Mexico. While we were eating, several Mexican construction workers came for their dinner, as well as some white-non Hispanic patrons who came because the aroma of the food was amazing. Don't expect it to be a 5-star restaurant. As for the ambiance, it's a "hole in the wall." It's a place where the focus is entirely on the food, and that's exactly how it should be. If you're a fan of Latin and Mexican cuisine and find yourself in Wilkes Barre, you simply must try this place. And for those of you who don't speak Spanish, they speak fluent English.“
