The service is always wonderful, and the Cowabunga Smoothie is one of my personal favorites. Everything they serve is made with natural, organic ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about a bunch of ultra-processed stuff going into your body. It’s refreshing to find a spot that focuses on quality while still making drinks that taste this good. It’s always a great choice when you need a quick energy boost to keep your day going. Highly recommended.“

“On Wednesday, August 27, in the midst of one of the most difficult days of my life as I coordinated hospice care for my father, I stopped at La Playa Bowls to find some nourishment. I hadn’t eaten all day, and what I received was far more than just a meal.
I was blessed with the healthy refreshment of fresh ingredients, lovingly customized just for me, and even more so, with the kindness and light of an AMAZING manager—Dawn. Your compassion, generosity, and gracious spirit lifted me in a way that words can hardly capture. You didn’t just provide outstanding customer service—you shared your heart.
The bowl was prepared with care, its ingredients as fresh, energizing, and delicious as always. But what made the experience extraordinary was you, Dawn. On a day that felt heavy, you poured joy and encouragement into my spirit.
La Playa Bowls has always been a place I love for its nourishment of both body and spirit. On that day, it became a place of comfort, renewal, and hope—thanks to you.

“I’ve been to Sweetgreen locations all over the country and practically every one in New York City, and this one is consistently the best. The staff is always great, everything is super fresh, and there’s almost never a wait.
Rose is especially great! She’s always friendly and makes the experience even better. This location sets the standard.“

“Really disappointing salad. They forgot my goat cheese, and look at the size of this beet chunk?! It’s absurd. This is the third time I have received an incorrect order while ordering online. I was really looking forward to a delicious harvest bowl. I’m thinking about not coming here anymore...“
