“Great to walk in this Saturday in November to meet Kathy and John and chat about their TOMATO 🍅 PIE @ $1.75 square. The two young men behind the counter were smart and helpful with picking and packing of the bakery items. After learning about the GRASSLAND BUTTER used in baking, plus more additional details, I purchased 1 square of tomato pie ($1.75), 2 cheese/fruit danish ($4.75 each), a 6 pack of ciabatta rolls ($3.00), a long loaf of cracked black pepper and Asiago bread ($7.75), an iced cinnamon roll ($3.75) and a 3 pack of these Scottish Tiffan ($3.60, refer to FB post) ALL $30. Now home, I perked a pot of coffee and sat down to enjoy the danish which imparts a delicious buttery dough, nice, generous middle of fruit filling with an underlay of cream cheese mixture spread. Oh, yum. 😋“

My favorite is the blueberry muffin, which is perfectly moist, has a crumb top, is the right amount of sweet, and doesn’t fall apart.
Reminds me of the one Whole Foods used to have back in the day, but better.

Always have a few vegan options: espresso cookie, a strawberry mousse cookie sandwich, a shortbread cookie, and a brownie are ones I’ve seen. All are very good and the prices are reasonable.
Pair with an oat cap from Birdnest next door.“

“We were visiting Myrtle Beach on our family vacation. Our daughter’s 5th birthday was during this time. I was in need of a birthday cake, more last minute. I reached out to Sweet Girlz Bakery and they were very accommodating! They not only could take my order but allowed me to pickup on a non business day for them. The cake was great! Beautiful decorated and tastes amazing. Our daughter absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend them and would love to use them again in the future!“

I had a hard time choosing the flavor because they all sounded so delicious but I chose the Vanilla Cake with Italian Meringue Icing and Raspberry Filling. When I say it was the best cake I've ever had I mean it. Many others said the same thing. It was so flavorful, moist and beautifully decorated. Definitely my go to bakery for fresh, unique and delicious cakes.“

The baked goods are delicious and super fresh, delicious, large variety of flavors, delicious, and did I mention DELICIOUS?!!!! This review is for a special order that was done at Kumi's Cakes and Pastries for our baby's birthday. We are ever so grateful to her for accepting our order amidst her very hectic schedule. We provided her with the list of items and she helped us choose the "perfect" filling for each pastry. We could not have been more pleased with the result. All pastries/snacks were a hit at the party. She makes everything from scratch and her Sri Lankan eclairs (chocolate chocolate eclairs) are the best. I don't think we can find anything closer to that even in Sri Lanka. She's a "PRO" in pastries and cakes and the best we've met so far. She is very detail oriented and puts her heart and soul into her work. I'll be purchasing all our special occasion baked goods from her. The flavor options are absolutely incredible. I got the cookies, some individual biscotti & a bag of biscotti bits [which I thought was a cool offering]. “OMGGG! This place was AMAZING! And the food was soooo good! I had never been to a Perkins before but my husband knew them from down south. We were visiting fam in Pennsylvania and came across this place on our way back to NY. Their prices were awesome AND they have a menu for people 55 and over. I thought that was great. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. I tipped my waitress $20 bucks cause she was so great. Excellent first time ever experience and now I am a fan!“
