“What a treasure! In Pburg, but worth the trip, right across the "Free Bridge". The bagels are legit, we will try the "Bloomin' Bagel" next time, Pecan Sticky Bun, Chic Chip Cookie and the unique and very yummy Shortbread with Banana Icing are ALL Great! Oh, and the Tomato Pie was one of the best I've ever had.

“Generally speaking, the cakes, cookies and pastries at Kumi's Cakes and Pastries are amazing and the filling/buttercream in each pastry is out of this world.

This review is for a special order that was done at Kumi's Cakes and Pastries for our baby's birthday. We are ever so grateful to her for accepting our order amidst her very hectic schedule. We provided her with the list of items and she helped us choose the "perfect" filling for each pastry. We could not have been more pleased with the result. All pastries/snacks were a hit at the party. She makes everything from scratch and her Sri Lankan eclairs (chocolate chocolate eclairs) are the best. I don't think we can find anything closer to that even in Sri Lanka. She's a "PRO" in pastries and cakes and the best we've met so far. She is very detail oriented and puts her heart and soul into her work. I'll be purchasing all our special occasion baked goods from her. Highly recommend her for your custom cake/baked good needs or if you are just stopping in for your sugar fix ;)“

“They made a chocolate cake for my birthday this year that was absolutely to die for, not overly sweet & it had a nice crumb. This bakery does a great job of balancing flavors. Hands down the best croissants you’ll find on this side of the Atlantic Ocean! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s impressive that everything is made from scratch right there, I’ve caught the lamination process a few times and wow!

“I don’t have any pictures because most of the stuff has been devoured already, but I came in this morning with a $25 gift card from the chamber of commerce and I ordered 2 tomato pie slices, a white pie slice, 2 peanut butter bars, a cheese danish, a cinnamon roll, and as per recommendation from staff/customers, a chocolate croissant. My aunt says that that was the best chocolate croissant she ever had, and I really enjoyed the pie slices I’ve had already. Highly recommend!“

I had a hard time choosing the flavor because they all sounded so delicious but I chose the Vanilla Cake with Italian Meringue Icing and Raspberry Filling. When I say it was the best cake I've ever had I mean it. Many others said the same thing. It was so flavorful, moist and beautifully decorated. I only eat chicken salad sandwiches and I have to say they make the absolutely best chicken salad sandwich that I’ve ever tasted.
