Cedars Reviews
I rarely leave reviews because, frankly, people often have BS reasons for negativity. This place was fantastic! A hole in the wall hidden in a residential area serving lamb I've never had better!
My husband and I decided to go here for dinner tonight. we have never been here before and we have very open minds in regards to trying new places to eat.
I ordered ravioli and it comes with a salad or soup. I got the salad with Italian dressing.
He got the chicken tender basket and we ordered hot chips.
The hot chips were very bland and not crunchy at all. which was very disappointing. My husband said that his chicken tender basket was comparable to fair food...read full review
Highly recommend the Godfather sandwich and they have the best collie greens around in New Castle

Cedars offers a pleasant atmosphere, with a clean and comfortable dining area and a lively bar scene. The restaurant is known for its great food and service, featuring highlights like the Lamb Dish and the Cedars Combo. The Lamb Dish includes tender lamb with pepper rings and melty cheese, while the Cedars Combo adds chicken to the mix. Customers praise the large Lamb Salad, which features hand-cut fries and perfectly cooked lamb, as well as crispy wings and chicken over rice. The restaurant also serves a variety of draft beers and has a smaller menu with options for everyone. Despite its plain exterior, Cedars has much to offer, including attentive service and delicious garlic fries. The place is ideal for both meat-lovers and vegetarians, providing a kid-friendly environment that makes it a great choice for a night out.
While the building could use a power wash and some paint, the staff is pleasant and attentive. The bar is small but cozy, and although the atmosphere might not be the main draw, the food elevates the experience. Customers have enjoyed the pub-like atmosphere, with some sitting by the kitchen where metal music blares, adding to its charm. The food truly kicks ass, with many finding the lamb on a rod very good and the overall experience fantastic. With great specials and reasonable prices, Cedars is worth a visit for those seeking good food over ambiance.
