Yamato - Sushi & Hibachi

Went here on a recommendation from a friend and I definitely have to thank him! I had the Hibachi steak and chicken and it was really delicious. Steak was medium rare as ordered and the chicken was very flavorful and not dry. The rice and vegetables were also very well prepared, not over cooked and still very firm and not mushy. The soup and salad to start the meal were also quite tasty, the soup moreso.
The waitress was efficient and friendly, and the wait for the meal was short.
Price was very reasonable, less than $20 for steak and chicken. Portion was quite generous and filling.
Can't wait to try it again!

I went there earlier this week, and a young man named Gino .L took my order and made jokes with me and made me feel at home in this hibachi restaurant, it truly friendly atmosphere and a lovely restaurant.

Only place I go for sushi!

This restaurant used to have a good dining experience. Now, half of the dining area is taken up by people waiting on their take out orders. One lady was standing next to our table while having a video call on speaker! Definitely not the Feng Shui experience I want from a Japanese restaurant. Everything else is good. Great food and good service

Ordered THREE hibachi lunches salmon steak and shrimp plus THREE orders of sushi we wanted to swatch out one of the sushi orders because we accidentally ordered the wrong one and they WOULD NOT ACCOMMODATE US we didn’t even eat the sushi we didn’t want not like we were trying to get over on them we spent a lot of money here for AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Called to place order... lady was grumpy.

When I got there, she was still grumpy... and very curt.

I ordered a spicy tuna roll and an egg roll. $10.50 total.

Egg roll turned into two tiny spring rolls (literally *HALF* the size of my pinky finger). Tuna roll was small with very, very little rice. Blah.

No fortune cookie.

Positives: 1.) the chopsticks were sturdy, and 2.) that the napkins were somewhat absorbent.

I will not be buying for from them again.

This place has some of the best sushi around. Most places have rolls that are so small and tiny and bland, but not Yamatos! They are simply amazing!!

Ordered 5 rolled of sushi and 2 hibachi meals asked for yum yum got all the way home no yum yum how was I suppose to eat my food… meal was ruined smh
