“Absolutely delicious, homemade, fresh food. I love the el puente bowl. The chicken flavor is perfect as well as the rice and beans. Had their salsa and chips for the first time yesterday and it was soo good I had to get some to take home. Not to mention their homemade tortillas that come with the bowl 🤤🤤🤤so glad my friend took me here a few months ago, I try to tell all my patients about it too!“

“The restaurant redo is very cute with a tropical vibe. The walls and ceilings are dripping with greenery and flowers.
Our waitress was wonderful. The timing on food and drinks was perfect.
The food was good and the menu gives a wide variety. There are happy hour drink specials 4-6.“

“The food was alright, the inside was super cozy and fun, the employees were trying their best... but my party had reserved a table. However, we when arrived they didn't have an available table for us inside. It was very busy so I understand but it's super disappointing to see what the inside was like (excellent lighting, music, and decoration) and then being sat outside in metal chairs where we might as well have gotten delivery and eatten at a park. I was saddened when I had ordered the quesadilla meal and got one sole quesadilla without any rice they had advertised about on the menu. I understand it was a Saturday night with lots of people but it left me feeling a bit down. They were out of Jugo too. Very sad. Other than that the food was pretty good.“

“I love eating here, I get the especial de Mexico, which is chopped steak and onions with refried beans and rice. Comes with chips, tortillas and salsa. The salsa is spicy so I usually don't eat a lot of that, but the fresh chips and wraps go great with the meal. I mix it all together and use the chips for dipping and make a few wraps. It's always cooked perfectly, the service is always fast and friendly, even when they are super busy. Definitely a great place to get some good Spanish food, and great service. I usually recommend it to anyone at my work because we are close by and it's a really quick way to get a meal that is delicious.
Parking: They have parking all around the building and plenty of it. Even in the street if needed.
Kid-friendliness: Would be a great place for kids to experience new and different things, and the food is delicious. Just make sure that the salsa is not to hot for your young ones.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is accessibility for a wheel chair to get in, it would be a tight squeeze into the door and in the restaurant but I believe it would be doable.“

“Giselle was a very attentive waitress and made our time there more enjoyable. This El Rancho was previously a Bob Evans, and oddly enough, I was seated in the same exact area as the last time I visited the Bob Evans 4 years ago. Thank you again!“

“Food & drinks were delicious, but the server had too many tables to take care of, and the other servers weren't really stepping in to help. My friend and I had extended wait times for service, but the strong drinks and apology made up for it.“

“This is how it should be. Coming from the southwest where I grew up, I've been in withdrawal, a desperate need for Mexican food that doesn't suck or cost $20 a plate.
This is how it's supposed to be. You pay 3 bucks, and you get a taco packed full of meat that's been marinating in a great blend of spices. You get salsa, sour cream, cheese, etc on top til it's overflowing. Not necessarily "authentic" Mexican food, but the kind of stuff you can find in working class neighborhoods in Phoenix, where you might be the first gringo to walk in in a week. And it's GOOD food.“

“This is not a posh dining experience, but the food is authentic, plentiful, and reasonably priced! Order at the counter and they’ll bring it to your table. From there, they will serve the table as in any sit-down restaurant. The atmosphere feels fast-foodish, but that won’t deter us from visiting regularly. They’ve got a great selection and an amazing store next door. We bought items you can’t find anywhere else around here. Their chocolate con leche flan is amazing!“

“El Rodeo in Mechanicsburg is an exceptional value and our server was just amazing! Really like the food and prices are pretty reasonable compared to a few years ago. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Used to eat lunch frequently at the Carlisle location but haven't been much during past year. Definitely going back soon.“

“Small dining area in back of this bodega in a strip mall. Really enjoyed the massive special burrito (pineapple marinated pork-wow!) with rice and refried beans on the side. Chef came out of kitchen to check up on us when he saw how much we were enjoying the lunch. Relaxed, leisurely pace (it’s not fast food. Relax, look around)“

“Been coming to the place since it originally opened downtown Harrisburg. Cowboy crunch is my go to. Amazing. The only thing I can complain about is hours they close at 7. 8 would be better, makes it hard to get their often especially since they closed the Carlisle location ( they need one downtown Carlisle) . Also , if you take things off your burrito it doesn't allow you to sub extra of something else like extra BBQ for example. I never get rice or beans on my burrito so the BBQ would actually be cheaper to substitute. So he aware when ordering.“
