“Dining out is all about service. Staff we met was up beat and friendly. John, who attended us for dinner was spot on at every point in the meal service. Many thanks to him. The food is very well prepared and presented. My partner had the chicken parmesan I had the meatloaf, not on the google review choices. However, I chose because to me it represented a regional food type. And, it was very tasty. We will return for a repeat. Although named a tavern, it is more a fine dining establishment. Lively customers that were charming and relaxing.“

Local products from their farm are used. Ice cream is fabulous. Kids can run around and have fun. We’ve gone about 15 or more times now. Our go to place on rte 340 to meet up with family.Vegetarian options: Portobello sandwich. Delicious.Parking: Ample parking lot!!Kid-friendliness: There is a fabulous kids barn inside this huge space. Faux animals in the barn. Mooing calf outside the barn. Kids can sit on a stool and pretend they are milking. There is a shoot to drop wooden eggs in a wire basket. Kids love it. Stairs go up to a big green tube slide. You can eat at tables close by and watch your kids play. Very friendly area. Lots of families and Amish too. Outdoor tables. “We stopped here for coffee and a snack and a brief business meeting on a Tuesday morning around 11AM. The service was attentive, the coffee was good and refills were readily offered. My husband had a bowl of baked oatmeal and a side of scrapple. I had a side of scrapple. Both were tasty. The prices were reasonable. Note that they are a cash only business and this is an old school diner with traditional breakfast items. There is an ATM on site. We were happy to find a local diner in the area.“
“Came here for the second time and was able to try their ice cream for the first time. I ordered a bowl of 2 scoops- marshmallow chocolate and peanut butter ripple, which cost a little less than $5. What's hot - Quality of ice cream. I really enjoyed the flavors I got! Their marshmallow chocolate was actually marshmallowy. The chocolate flavor wasn't too sweet and didn't overpower the marshmallow, either, which I enjoyed. Their peanut butter ripple appears to be a very popular flavor, because the bucket was practically empty by the time I ordered, which was close to closing time. The consistency of the peanut butter ripple is the best! The peanut butter is not too creamy and sweet; it had a hint of saltiness. - Variety of options at store. In addition to the ice cream, they sell meals and snacks, including bubble tea; the latter, of which, I'm very hesitant in trying. There are also many grocery options, like regular pies, whoopie pies, Jams, jellies, savory snacks, etc.... - Price. Pretty reasonable, depending on what you're getting. Paying $5 for my 2 scoops of ice cream is good value for money, especially given the quality of the ice cream. - Holiday hours. They were open the day after Christmas, which was great. I asked them why they're open and Emma's Popcorn was not. One of the staff told me they're staffed with Mennonites, so; it sounds like their hours may be more flexible. What's not - Regular store hours. Even though they are staffed with Mennonites, keep in mind their hours aren't too flexible, in that they don't open past a certain time. - Location. Depending on where you're coming from, this place may be out of your way. Additionally, they're not conveniently located to other shops. Final Answer Definitely plan on returning.“

“Country-fried steak the size of the plate with salad (huge) and 2 sides for $13.99 and all of the food was good except the pickled beets which were barely pickled. Friendly waitstaff. Clean. Loved it as the Evergreen and will continue to go as the Ephrata Plaza Diner! Only negative- no fried chicken basket. That should be a must in every diner!“

“It's a love hate with this place bc the food is incredible but the prices are crazyyyyy ($41 for 2 burgers and 2 fries, NO DRINKS). Their Cajun fries are amazing. They had a crisp, thick letus wrap for those who are gluten free. I'll be back (once I adjust my budget accordingly ? )Dietary restrictions: Awesome letus wrap for gluten free ppl!“

“Outstanding food and service. Love the decore of the school pride. Needs updated pics though of the school stuff. Wish they still offered the military discount. Our server was great but was running crazy. They need more manning.Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and a soup too.Parking: Good but to many staff park in customer access spots. Go 1hr before they open and see.Kid-friendliness: Great for them and the servers are wonderful with them.Wheelchair accessibility: Need a push button handicap opener on the front outside and main indoor. They make them to where they open one after the other to reduce air movement but good handicap flow. STILL not fixed.“

“I grew up on Sonic in Texas and I'm glad they're spreading. This was the 1st one in the northeast that reminded me of home. Really good fast-food - best tater tots anywhere and the pickle chips were amazing! Could not believe they were so crispy and the batter was so good.“

“Ok, today was my breaking point. Lol! Third time I've ever ordered happy meals with extra fries, that is an option on the mobile app, and it's never been right. I've had to go back and ask the first 2 times. This third time, I opened it right at the window and it only had one fry. I told the person that I ordered extra fries with my happy meals and he said that both fries are in the same little white small fry bag. I gave up. I know there's no extra charge for the extra fries, but the order is still wrong. I'm just not going to order an extra fry anymore and not have to have the hassle of telling them they got my order wrong again. Obviously this time, the guy didn't feel like going back to grab the fries. I just said ok and went along. I mean, if the fries were "put together in the same bag", then that just means you pack that little small fry really well. Doesn't mean it's an "extra" fry packed into it. Lol. I gave up! Mcds disappointed me again. It's like as if they DON'T want to give out that extra fry. Then don't put it as an option.“
